Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen, able to pass a background investigation (financial and criminal) and apply for and maintain up to a Secret clearance, as well as having a valid driver's license.

Summary
The Biomedical Technician II (BMET II) is required to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. The individual should be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of these duties. The BMET II may serve as technical advisor to the medical and clinical staff in the safe operation and use of clinical equipment. Responsibilities
Technical Service - 40%
Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex and intricate biomedical equipment

The Test Technician will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, laboratories, production/test environment, line maintenance and/or chemical handling.
What You Will Do
Test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
Observe, analyze, and report test data; and when appropriate makes necessary repairs to equipment.
Work closely from approved procedures, schematics, and drawings
Isolate problems between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the units under test and resolve as necessary.
Validate the correctness of procedures. Selects, sets up and operates engineering and scientific equipment.
Effectively communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s).
Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to determine pass/fail condition and determine when further analysis is needed.
Work independently to complete production/acceptance test to interpret pass/fail data to achieve production goals.
This position requires lifting, walking, and could involve stair/ladder climbing at the test range(s).
