**Technology Engineer (2202061) - Geismar, LA**
**Where the Chemistry Happens**
We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the technical scope of the MDI Process Area for the Geismar MDI Expansion project. This project group has an investment value of more than $700M and will significantly expand the capacity for MDI production in North America. In this role you will be an important technical point of contact for both the internal and external engineering teams charged with designing and building the new plant. In addition, you will both advise and lead precommissioning and commissioning activities for the new assets as they are built. Finally, in this role you will be an owner of the process safety design and implementation for the MDI process area, this includes leading safety reviews, tracking management of change implementation and directing pre-startup safety reviews.
**Formula for Success**
+ Leveraging your bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering Disciple, Chemical Engineering, or related field you will be responsible for MDI Process Design Development, including support of P&ID's and PFD's.
+ Combining your experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or similar manufacturing, engineering, or research environment as well as in a plant production or operations environment, including your understanding of unit operations and chemistry you will support process safety reviews, MOC's and PSSR's, as well as develop and implement action items.
+ Integrating your experience in project management or manufacturing representative and isocyanate chemistry as well as your skills to develop teamwork with peers and superiors you will prepare for training, precommissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for new plant start-up and approve the process technical datasheets for equipment purchase.
