Mesa seeks an electrical engineer with 0-5 years of experience doing substation P&C design in 69kV to 500kV substations. The successful candidate will work with a team to complete substation P&C design projects to meet client standards and practices. They will be responsible for maintaining good quality and efficiency while developing deliverables such as: One-Line Diagrams, AC & DC Schematics, Panel Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, Cable Lists, and Bills of Material. They must have a good understanding of how substation protection and control systems work as well as be willing to learn the client standards and practices. Responsibilities On a task basis, is responsible for preparation and completion of discipline engineering designs and supporting documentation such as calculations. Coordinates and prepares calculations, specifications, reports, design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas. Interfaces with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects as required. Responsible for adhering to project scope, schedule and budget on all assigned projects.
