Summary
The Biomedical Technician II (BMET II) is required to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Program, set up, and operate CNC/Manual mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines to manufacture precision components.
Create, modify, and optimize CNC/Manual programs using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Gibbs CAM).
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations and tolerances.
Interpret and use MOP's, rework procedures, and acceptance criteria for all Value Streams
Select proper tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters for efficient and accurate production.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, gauges).
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain machines, tooling, and work area in safe and clean conditions.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to improve processes and workflow.
Document setups, processes, and program revisions for repeat production runs.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of CNC/Manual machining experience, set-up, and proven ability to program CNC/Manual machines.
Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software.
Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T symbols.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for quality checks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Manage time and work well with those on all shifts, including support personnel.
Working necessary overtime.

Work may involve frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, twisting, turning, climbing, and standing on concrete for 8+ hours.

Job Overview:
The Manufacturing Technician works on various operations activities to meet productivity goals. Fiber Global has four (4) levels of Manufacturing Technician positions which are based on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the employee in alignment with what is required for the areas and functions of responsibility. This may include preparing, staging, handling, and moving production materials and finished products around the factory. Additionally, performing preventative and recovery maintenance repairs involving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic equipment may be expected depending on the technician level. Technicians at the highest level will also be expected to be proficient in diagnosing and solving PLC faults, performing sensor replacements and adjustments, and are experienced in efficiently performing heavy repairs on automated equipment under pressure and short timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate equipment, machines, vehicles, and hand tools in accordance with safety and standards

The Tissue Processing Tech position at West Lafayettein Dry Production offers a clear, structured career path from entry-level to highly skilled technician. New team members start with hands-on, one-on-one training with a dedicated trainer, allowing plenty of time to learn, practice, and adapt before working independently.
In this role, employees will develop technical skills in their assigned areas, gain an understanding of Evergen's rules and regulations, and build confidence in reading and following work instructions. Team members work in a supportive, collaborative environment and gradually transition to working with minimal supervision as they grow in their role.
SHIFT:
This position follows a 9/80 schedule in our West Lafayette facility, Dry Production area:
• Regular Workdays: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM• Friday Schedule: Every other Friday off; on working Fridays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM• Breaks: One 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks per shift
DAY IN THE LIFE:
Team members typically arrive a few minutes early for their shift to go into the locker room and put on their required PPE - including shoe covers, hair nets, face masks, and frocks/gowns. After gowning, the team attends a morning meeting to review the daily tasks and priorities.
Once in the production area, team members:
• Set up their aseptic workstations and follow work instructions displayed on tablets • Work with animal tissue to manufacture medical devices according to specifications • Perform detailed, handcraft work that requires focus, precision, and adherence to written procedures • Spend about 90% of the shift seated, working closely alongside team members in a cleanroom environment

What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field

Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and assist with root cause and corrective action activities under guidance of the Quality Engineer.
Monitor adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality requirements.
Support calibration and maintenance of inspection/test equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements.
Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to provide feedback on quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and reinforce best practices.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Tissue Processing Tech position at West Lafayettein Dry Production offers a clear, structured career path from entry-level to highly skilled technician. New team members start with hands-on, one-on-one training with a dedicated trainer, allowing plenty of time to learn, practice, and adapt before working independently.
In this role, employees will develop technical skills in their assigned areas, gain an understanding of Evergen's rules and regulations, and build confidence in reading and following work instructions. Team members work in a supportive, collaborative environment and gradually transition to working with minimal supervision as they grow in their role.
SHIFT:
This position follows a 9/80 schedule in our West Lafayette facility, Dry Production area:
• Regular Workdays: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Friday Schedule: Every other Friday off; on working Fridays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Breaks: One 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks per shift
DAY IN THE LIFE:
Team members typically arrive a few minutes early for their shift to go into the locker room and put on their required PPE - including shoe covers, hair nets, face masks, and frocks/gowns. After gowning, the team attends a morning meeting to review the daily tasks and priorities.
Once in the production area, team members:
• Set up their aseptic workstations and follow work instructions displayed on tablets
• Work with animal tissue to manufacture medical devices according to specifications
• Perform detailed, handcraft work that requires focus, precision, and adherence to written procedures
• Spend about 90% of the shift seated, working closely alongside team members in a cleanroom environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs tissue processing activities that produce the highest level of quality and yield outcomes in accordance with Work Instructions (IWs).
Responsible for accurately processing tissue products and meeting production schedules.

A leading U.S.-based advanced manufacturer is hiring an Electronics Technician to join its dynamic maintenance and engineering team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with training paid by the company, cutting-edge automation projects, and a compressed 2-2-3 schedule (7AM-7PM) - meaning you get half the year off while still earning full-time pay.

What You'll Be Doing:
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, HMI systems, power supplies, sensors, and automation controls
Troubleshoot industrial motors and work with voltages ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC
Build and install electrical control cabinets
Install new circuits, run conduit, and assist with preventive maintenance
Interpret schematics and follow national electrical codes
Support continuous improvement projects and production uptime
Train and support team members as needed
Qualifications:
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
3-5+ years hands-on experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
Comfortable working in fast-paced manufacturing environments
Proficient in programming/installing Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
Experience using test equipment (e.g., multimeter, megger, amp clamp, thermal scanner)
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in aerial lifts as needed
Pay & Schedule:
Starting at $32/hr - up to $44/hr based on qualifications (company-paid training available!)
12-hour shifts (7AM-7PM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule - work only 14 days/month
