EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Microsoft Windows. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of weights and measures. Ability to apply concepts such as ratios, and proportions for ingredient and nutritional information. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to regularly stand, stoop, kneel and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet. What you will do: Support engineering change requests Participate in cost saving projects and responsible for reporting Assist with product launches to achieve timeline milestones for production Support continuous improvement activities through time study evaluation, machinery implementation, machinery modification, and plant layout design changes. Participate in Kaizen events Learn ways to provide technical support to skilled trades and operations related to downtime and machine throughput issues. Help ensure all contractors are following the plant safety rules. Support required actions based on results from Global Safety Audit Participate in corrective actions regarding machine safety issues as requested.
