* During the final stages of the program, the intern will prepare a presentation outlining their experience at Branch.

Summary/Objective:
The HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician will support field trade teams and/or third party contractors and oversee and direct maintenance and/or personnel and processes critical to the safe and efficient completion of tasks. Must have ability to effectively survey any repairs needed, create a repair scenario and effectively implement scenario. Background in Controls or HVAC.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the Set up and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and successfully programing them
Work with the multiple clients to schedule and successfully perform assigned tasks
Supervise tasks and projects assigned
Investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes and modifications to improve safety
Maintain inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records
Manage employee time records and daily activity reports

Testing of new equipment / repair equipment to design specifications

Required:
5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience

In-depth knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines: plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC Cooling and ducted air systems, general construction practices, generator systems, and controls systems
Excellent building services knowledge
