Coordination of fire protection BIM models with other MEP trades

Requirements for CAD Technician:

Accountabilities:
Review and coordinate testing procedures to confirm compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and approved protocols. Work closely with Project Managers, design teams, and third-party testing facilities to plan, execute, and document required testing.
Review Performance Mock-Up (PMU) drawings and provide quality oversight during shop fabrication, field installation, and testing activities. Participate in PMU testing and deliver post-testing (“post-mortem”) feedback and lessons learned to project and design teams.
Create, maintain, organize, and archive all quality-related documentation, including quality control inspection reports, leak investigation reports, laboratory testing reports, and fabrication, installation, and testing review documentation. Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible to project teams.
Review shop drawing details and conduct field leak investigations on active and completed projects to identify root causes of water infiltration or performance issues. Collaborate with project, design, and field teams to develop and implement effective remediation strategies.
Perform jobsite visits at project start-up and on a periodic basis to verify that critical quality and performance-related detailing is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and installation procedures. Generate detailed inspection reports following each site visit.
Support design teams by providing practical, field-based input on critical system detailing, drawing reviews, and constructability considerations based on real-world installation and testing experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in installation or testing in the facade/curtainwall fabrication, manufacturing, or construction field.
Ability and flexibility to travel is necessary. *Travel will be largely New England or NY/NY based.

Duties
Help
* Perform installation, maintenance, and operational testing required to maintain the Bureau's communication and intrusion systems in optimum condition.
* Perform maintenance and service functions required to obtain optimum operational capability of a wide variety of complex equipment incorporated into the FM radio, radio teletype, secure telephone, data and teletype, and intrusion Systems.
* Use test equipment and advanced techniques to perform installation, maintenance and repair tasks as well as the operational testing of the FM radio system (base stations, repeaters, remote and mobile transmitters/receivers and personal equipment).
* Conduct preventive maintenance by regularly inspecting and testing equipment for reliability and accuracy to prevent breakdown.
* Perform corrective maintenance to restore a system which is out of operating condition through extensive analytical testing, take positive action to replace or repair deficient or malfunctioning components and units.
* Review pertinent technical manuals, remain current with technology, and be available to attend government sponsored training classes.

Qualifications
GS-7: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-5 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
* Assisted with the physical installation and maintenance of electronic communication systems.
* Conducted routine equipment tests; performed basic corrections and/or replacing defective parts.
* Handled, stored, and inventoried a variety of electronic equipment and components.
GS-9: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of SE equivalent to the GS-7 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
* Performed physical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic communication systems.
* Performed installations and preventive and corrective (or emergency) maintenance and service work on FM radio systems, data networks, or electronic physical security systems.
* Inspected equipment for adherence to standards and tolerances.
Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS-7: Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or one (1) full year of graduate level education. Superior academic achievement is the completion of all the requirements of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average of 3.0 or higher as recorded on an official transcript, or as based on courses completed during the final two years of the curriculum, or (3) honor society membership.
GS-9: Applicant must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
Degrees must be in one of the following fields: Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work requires strenuous physical exertion such as climbing tall ladders or towers, long periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities; and recurring lifting heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds such as radio and related communications systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work involves high risks with exposure to potentially dangerous situations such as electrical shocks, falls from high towers, inclement weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, and high winds), requiring a range of safety and other precautions, including accompaniment by another technician when performing duties considered hazardous to life and limb.

We are seeking a hands-on Engine Performance Technician to support engine testing, calibration, and performance development in our state-of-the-art test facilities.
Position Summary
The Engine Performance Technician will work closely with engineers to execute engine tests, collect and analyze data, configure instrumentation, and support control system and calibration development. This role is ideal for individuals with strong fundamentals in internal combustion engines, test cell operation, and engine data acquisition systems.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot engine performance test cells for prototype and production engines.
Execute test plans involving durability testing, performance mapping, emissions measurement, and transient testing.
Assist with engine performance calibration, including feed-forward and closed-loop control strategies.
Perform mechanical setup, fixturing, and instrumentation of engines and test rigs.
Install and configure instrumentation to measure flow, temperatures, pressures, loads, and other performance-related parameters, including flow meters, thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, load cells, and strain gauges.
Operate and troubleshoot high-speed data acquisition systems for combustion and performance data collection.
Validate sensor accuracy, wiring integrity, and signal quality.
Support development and implementation of ECU communication protocols such as CAN and XCP.
Assist in control software development and controller configuration.
Perform PID control tuning for actuators, fuel systems, airflow systems, and thermal control systems.
Use Matlab, Simulink, and Python for data analysis, test automation, and model-based development tasks.
Support PLC logic development for test cell automation, interlocks, and safety systems.
Requirements
Understanding of internal combustion engine fundamentals, including thermodynamics, combustion, performance metrics, fueling, and air handling.
Experience with engine testing, dynamometers, or engine test cell operations.
