Specific Responsibilities The Automation Technician Sr is a technical position under the direction and training of the automation foreman and is responsible for system integration, operation, and maintenance of all areas of automation systems and performs other related duties. The Automation Technician Sr uses extensive knowledge of DC Electronics with a basic knowledge of AC electrical systems associated with oil and gas production facilities. They also provide training and support to other technicians or operators.
* Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems and controls.
* Coordinate with contractors for the maintenance of VRU's, combustors and flare systems.
* Troubleshoot and maintain existing emissions control systems, while also overseeing the installation and implementation of new emissions control systems.
* Maintains good working relationships with various groups including production, water groups, and facilities engineering.
* Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
* Oversee installation and configuration of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal unit (RTU), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
* Assist in the testing and commissioning of new control systems. Read and interpret technical documentation including electrical and pneumatic schematics, control narratives and loop drawings.
* Ensure collaboration with other automation team members and cross-function teams to resolve technical issues.
* Be willing to continually improve professional development including non-technical subjects such as, but not limited to, business communications, problem solving, corporate culture.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
* High School Diploma required.
* 10+ years of experience in automation
* 5+ years' experience in Oil and Gas
* Must have experience with ROCLink, IDEC, ABB, SCADAPak, RMC, and SignalFire wireless.
* HMI experience required with IDEC, Red Lion, and Beijer.
* Field communications experience with Cambium, Cradle Point and advanced skill in TCP/IP and MODBUS communications.
* Must be highly organized and able to self-direct, multi-task and prioritize based on dynamic work environment requirements.
* Strong application skills in Excel and Word required.
* Elevated level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, and other materials primarily associated with landfill and/or waste containment system construction.
Perform in-place moisture-density results to verify project compaction requirements are met.
Oversee drilling, logging of borings, and instrumentation installation.
Monitor activities on job sites to assure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g., technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.).

Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports;

The Well Control Technician is primarily responsible for working on well control equipment, assembly/disassembly of choke manifolds, performing inspections and preventative maintenance on BOP equipment. This position is on call for any urgent field related issues.

What you need:
Thorough knowledge of BOP and well control equipment

The EPIC Field E-Technician position is responsible for providing service to customers by installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical circuitry, electronics, and hydraulic devices on well service rigs and support equipment. Job Functions/Duties:
Installs and maintains electrical circuitry, electronics, and hydraulic equipment
Inspect, test, and troubleshooting problems with electronics, electrical devices, and hydraulic equipment to make necessary repairs
Installing and calibrating electronics and I/O systems
Conducting service checks and performing preventative maintenance to keep electronics and hydraulic equipment functioning properly
Communicating with rig operators and supervisors to understand problems and provide progress updates

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
3 years oilfield technical service experience; relevant industry education in industrial, engineering or related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to understand and follow instructions
Deep familiarity with circuitry and wiring
Experience with hydraulics
Knowledge and ability to interpret diagrams and schematics
