You will be working as part of the Mechanical Engineering team assisting the EGS, Lead, engineers, and the Project Engineer/Project Manager in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate submittals, back check drawing updates, document reviews, meetings, and workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing computers to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of databases. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to-day work activities. Major Responsibilities: The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers tracking of information and locating documents. The Engineering Technologist performs data searches and maintains open item punch list items status. The Engineering Technologist supports meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides. The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking. The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed to the high-quality standards while executing to the schedule. Process Engineering Technician to work with Windows engineering team, comprised of Process Engineers, Design and Development Engineers, and Engineering Technicians to support the development and sustainment of X-ray windows. The Technician will work directly with engineering, logistics and production to incorporate new product into manufacturing and support manufacturing and production control in the continuous improvement to existing product. The Technician will also be responsible for the troubleshooting of customer and in-line failures as well as support of production operators. Essential Functions: * Assists in the gathering of data relating to engineering design, manufacturing & product support requirements. * Utilizes an entry level understanding of product design and build processes and applies standard methods and basic principles of Lean Product Development, Theory of Constraints and Design of Experimentation. * Performs the gathering of raw data and assists in processing data and communicates in meaningful forms (e.g., Flow Charts, Pareto Charts, Control Charts) to capture current manufacturing yields as well as drive yield improvements. * Improves processes and performs validation of the process.
