Responsible for protecting The Guthrie Clinic against the misuse or theft of services by ensuring that the appropriate safeguards are activated on the Avaya PBX system. Performs capacity planning as it pertains to Avaya PBX hardware components, lines, trunks, etc. Monitors incoming and outgoing traffic to ensure the efficient and optimal use of the lines. Makes recommendations to management for the addition of lines and PBX hardware components where appropriate. Other Duties: Travel for this position is sometimes required.
