Electronic Technician (I, II, III, IV) FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt REQ#25_04146C Summary of Duties - The Electronic Technician (I, II, III, IV) must possess minimum higher educational requirements, a thorough understanding of electricity/electronics, basic/accelerated wiring skills, the use of common/specialty hand tools and the use of general purpose test equipment. Tasks are accomplished as assigned by the Installation Supervisor and in accordance with company work instructions/NAVSEA standard items. Periodically required to lift/move equipment up to and including 50 pounds. Additional duties and/or responsibilities of other positions may also be assigned for which qualifications are met to include Installation Supervisor on routine or low risk installations. Specific description of duties: • Responsible for assisting in electrical/electronic installations, wiring of assemblies, and troubleshooting of cabling and equipment. Additional responsibilities could include opening as well as closing cableways, cable trunks, and multi cable transits; transporting material/tools to and from the worksite; standing fire watch; painting; lagging; and assisting in weld preparation/fit up.
