Math skills (including Algebra) and knowledge of printing/converting materials and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of an associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or related field is required for this position
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as an engineering support technician, or other relevant working experience

Position Overview:
As an Engine Test Technician on the Product Development & Engineering team you will be responsible for executing the endurance engine test program and all other engineering engine test activities at Mercury's Indoor Test Center (ITC) located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This is a night shift position with working hours of 4PM to 4AM, with rotating 3 day and 4 day work weeks.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $53,100 - $83,800 annually. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician provides ongoing, direct technical support to assembly production processes, having responsibility to support day-to-day production activities while also meeting Mercury's Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity goals.

Essential Functions:
Serve as a technical resource supporting assembly operators and production operations
Provide ongoing ‘first responder” style technical support for assembly processes and production equipment, to maximize efficiency and support daily production goals
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand the manufacturing methods and activities
Engagement in current production activities, providing troubleshooting support to process and equipment related issues causing downtime and loss of production output
Active participant in Safety and Ergonomic activities in support of providing a Safe and healthy working environment for all team members
Use Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools to drive continuous improvement of processes
Work cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to address issues as they arise
Provide updates to process documentation as required
Provide detailed cross shift communication
Assist with training and on-boarding of new assembly line team members

Required Qualifications:
High School Education
Minimum 3 - 5 years' relevant work experience
Ability to apply industry standard practices and techniques in specific situations
Have general knowledge of tooling, fixtures, gauge design and build as well as other equipment associated with a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints as well as other associated Mercury and industry standards
Ability to train and become a Certified Green Belt
PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good communication skills both written and oral
Strong work ethic - positive attitude, adaptable, flexible, perform with sense of urgency, high integrity, dependable and responsible, self-motivated
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize projects
Ability to interact and communicate with different functions & various levels of employees
Quality mindset, willing to communicate product quality issues and concerns
Preferred Qualifications:
2 year Technical Degree in Process Engineering or related manufacturing field
Basic understanding of engine assembly processes
Formal Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green belt certification
Self-motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and capable of working independently within deadlines
The anticipated pay range for this position is 53,100 to 83,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

* Perform light maintenance and repairs on SMT equipment; identify root causes of failures and implement solutions.
* Utilize CIM/CAM/CAD data to create machine-positioning programs aligned with customer specifications.
* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and assist in developing product build techniques.
* Create thermal profiles to ensure compliance with industry standards and process yield requirements.
* Conduct statistical measurements (CPK/PPK) to maintain process control and equipment performance.

Position Overview:
As an Engine Test Technician on Mercury Marine's Engineering team you will be responsible for executing the endurance engine test program and all other engineering engine test activities at Mercury's Indoor Test Center (ITC) located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Essential Functions:
Conduct and monitor endurance engine testing for new and current products
Rig engines into test tanks, install and/or connect instrumentation for data collection
Perform and document engine maintenance for engine's on test (oil change, valve lash, spark plugs, oil samples)
Install/remove outboard and inboard engine parts as required (gearcases, transmission, dives, cylinder heads, cams, exhaust, harnessing, sensors, etc.)
Troubleshoot engine and ITC issues (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic)
Monitor test facility systems (tank water chemistry, tank and engine water supply, etc.)
Fabricate/modify test fixtures, test parts, test props, etc.
Document and report daily progress verbally and written within several different computer-based platforms
Follow precise engineering instructions and test procedures
Indoor Test Center facility/grounds cleaning and maintenance activities
Be an effective team member with a commitment to safety

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
3 years of related experience
Experience with the use of related precision tools and equipment (torque wrenches, borescopes, calipers)
Self-starter to keep engines on test and minimize downtime to meet tight deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime and pick up additional shifts with little advanced notice when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in related technical field
5 years of related experience
Proficient with internal combustion engine disassembly, assembly, troubleshooting and general understanding of operation for evaluating test data.
Familiarity with various boat electrical, hydraulic, fuel, control, and other related systems
Basic machining, welding and fabrication experience
Strong computer skills and experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Ignition HMI software for test interfacing
Work Schedule
12-hour shifts
Day Shift (4am - 4pm)
84 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
