The Client Facility also manufactures Master Cell Banks (MCBs) used in the production of clinical grade gamma retrovirus vector for use in CAR T clinical trials. This role troubleshoots and maintains industrial manufacturing facilities equipment as well as the outdoor grounds of the facility. Position Responsibilities The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position: Handle industrial electrical issues including changing light bulbs and working with 208, 277, 480-volt, 3 phase and 120-volt, single phase equipment. Install, repair, and troubleshoot industrial piping systems along with the ability to change out pumps and motors. Troubleshoot to determine malfunctions on equipment using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, and circuit analysis. Troubleshoot AC & DC Systems up to 480 volts. Volumetric air content testing requires repeated swinging of the 30-pound concrete-filled test device from knee-level to head-level. Soil Density Testing: The technician must be able to repeatedly drop a 25-pound drop slide hammer to drive sampling tubes into the ground and then manually excavate the sampling tubes back out of the ground with mattock and shovel. Must be able to load and unload a 90-pound case containing a nuclear density gauge and carry the 50-pound nuclear density gauge by hand for up to 50 yards over uneven ground. Hand Auger and Penetrometer: Must be able to manually hand auger down to 10 feet into soil to obtain samples and perform portable dynamic cone penetrometer testing. The hand auger may require up to 50 pounds of pull to remove it from wet soil conditions. The total weight of the dynamic cone penetrometer ranges from 20 to 40 pounds. Operation of the penetrometer requires repeated raising and dropping of the 15 pound slide weight.

Field and laboratory engineering technicians will work closely with our laboratory manager and professional engineers to ensure buildings in the Triad are constructed safely. In-house training and statewide to national level certification will be provided and readily available. This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Hourly rate depends on local market and results of candidate interview. Overtime is paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 40 hours in one week. Position involves troubleshooting, repair, and installation of integrated security mechanical and electronic systems, to include but not limited to the following: CCTV equipment, analog and digital IP based systems Intercom / Audio systems Electronic locking systems Card access control equipment Relay logic and PLC based control Repair and maintenance of mechanical locking devices, panic hardware, detention hardware Familiarity with file structure in PC based controls REQUIREMENTS: 1. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred: Associates degree in construction or electronics technology 2. Licensing/Registration/Certification Required: Local certifications as required by work area Must pass criminal background checks 3. Experience 4. On call rotation requirement Required: 1 or more years in the installation of low voltage communication systems or security and/or detention equipment. EOE/M/F/Veteran/Disabled
