Job Description The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation and repair of control systems. They must have a thorough understanding of HVAC systems sequence of operations (Hydronics, AHUs, VAVs, etc.). The controls technician will program, commission, diagnose, and troubleshoot various DDC systems. Knowledge of testing equipment, gauges, meters, tools, math, and blueprint comprehension are necessary to accurately document malfunctions, diagnose, troubleshoot, and program control systems. Essential Functions: * Responsible for general knowledge of any / all job-related machinery, equipment, and work instructions. * Set up of production equipment according to established specifications, adjusting CNC programming as needed * Perform minor maintenance on production equipment * Calibration and use of measurement and balancing equipment * Utilize production equipment to produce finished goods in accordance with production goals * Ensure quality of finished product in accordance with established quality processes and guidelines * Utilize forklift to move raw materials and finished goods as needed in the production process * Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhere to all safety procedures * Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications: * Mechanical skills * Basic math skills * Basic computer skills * Ability to work all jobs within the department Experience: * 0-1 year in a manufacturing setting * Experience in an automated, CNC, mechanical or production environment preferred Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
