Candidates must be able to communicate effectively via telephone to clients. Repair and service of Company's Analytics (HA) equipment, from initial Quote to final repair / inspection of HA equipment sent in to the US Workshop for repair or calibration. To perform mechanical, electronic, and performance tests on a variety of HA equipment following general procedures and methods. To maintain records for all products Serviced in database (SAP). Individual must be a team player and willing to do other tasks as assigned outside of “Technician” classification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Repair and service company's analytic products to support the three lines of business (High Tech, Fixed, and Portables) Perform troubleshooting to component level using electronic tools to include digital voltage meters and other electronic testing tools. (Test fixtures / Software). Perform telephone support to customers and distributors to troubleshoot problems in the field. Maintain Service Reports / Quotations in database (SAP). Maintain Service Database on the HA shared drive to ensure proper customer information. Assist and maintain the refurbishment program. (Reconfigure / Calibrate). Qualifications EDUCATION: Associate Degree of Applied Science in Electronics or Equivalent Military Equivalent to AAS Electronics Degree EXPERIENCE: 2 or more years of experience in electro-mechanical system trouble-shooting to sub-assembly levels. Capable of reading assembly blue prints, wiring schematics, and configuration specifications. Use of specialized test equipment to include oscilloscope, Voltage Meters, etc. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, distributors, co-workers, and other departments within the company. Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) Siebel and SAP experience a plus. Under general direction of the Team Leader(s) the Electronic Technician is responsible for repairing electronic product for manufacturing and field returns. Essential Role Responsibilities: Performs timely and efficient repairs of manufacturing product. Tests control board assemblies utilizing a PC to retrieve various engineering documents including but not limited to: schematics, assembly layouts, test procedures, and work instructions. Completes required supporting documentation for all returns. Sets\-up and operates various electronic test equipment using multi\-meters, oscilloscope, counters, thermo\-couple simulator, etc. Ensures quality control on product line and the adherence to standard operating procedures. Maintains clean and functional work stations, troubleshoot equipment as necessary, and adheres to safety policies and procedures. Promptly notify Team Leader regarding quality trends and issues. Performs other related duties as assigned by Team Leader(s).
