POSITION DESCRIPTION: Engineer trainees rotate through major disciplines shadowing and assisting professional and technical staff, completing assigned technical engineering tasks, observing and participating in project, leadership and management activities and meetings.
Maintenance Phase: Performs technical engineering tasks of gradually increasing complexity in Field Operations, Warehouse, Repair Shops and Maintenance Systems.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES:**
This working position is responsible for the Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant at a Correctional Institution both in operations and maintenance. This position also instructs inmates in the special skills necessary to operate a Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant through an apprentice on-the-job training program designed to develop experience and skills necessary to assume and fulfill the position of Operator of a water or sewer utility.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for, but not limited to:
* Operates and maintains Water Treatment Plant and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant in compliance with the DEP permit and DEP rules and regulations.
* Carries out the preventive maintenance program for both plants. Orders and stocks all chemicals used in the operation process.
* Repairs all breakdowns which can be done at the operator level and troubleshoots other specialized equipment for the utility operation such as compressors, pumps, air blowers, chlorinators, etc.
* Cleans bar screens, grit chamber, settling, and sludge beds as necessary. Collects samples and performs tests including, but not limited to dissolved oxygen, total solids, suspended solids, settle able solids, biological oxygen demands, and acid or alkaline tests.
* Prepares reports as required on plant operations from the results of daily tests. Maintains and operates logs and related records.
* Prepares progress and performance reports for assigned inmates for use by the inmate's classifications team in measuring and determining the rehabilitative progress of the assigned inmate consistent with motivation needs and the development of a positive approach to rehabilitation efforts.
* Maintains custody and control of inmates assigned under the supervision of the position in accordance with accountability requirements for inmates outlined in operational procedures.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
* A Class C Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License or higher
* A Valid Class E Driver's License
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:**

**Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:**
+ Assist maintenance and support personnel supporting the Follow On Technical Support (FOTS) contract under NAVSEA PMS 326. The position supports craft and ships sold to foreign Navies with fleet support of ships undergoing diesel engine repairs, overhauls, and modernization conversions.

**The role.**
**Position Overview** :
2nd shift Maintenance Electronic Technician provides technical support for manufacturing equipment and systems and ensures equipment is properly maintained and operating correctly. As a Costume/Cosmetology Technician you will work with the Cast of our Broadway/West End Style Musical Theater Production Shows and ship wide Entertainment Offerings by providing costuming support, stage makeup assistance and styling, care and maintenance of performer wigs.
You will report to Senior Technician Costume
**Responsibilities :**
+ Oversee the care and maintenance of all Cosmetology associated with ship wide Entertainment offerings
+ Maintain, style and care for all theatrical wigs
+ Assist performers with stage makeup including airbrush and prosthetic applications
+ Inventory cosmetology supplies
+ Help with the care of all costumes including laundering, hand sewing and machine stitching
+ Run dressing tracks for shows, set costumes, and assist with quick changes
+ Ensure the integrity of all entertainment events ship wide
**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Minimum two years of industry related experience
+ Skills with styling, care and maintenance of theatrical wigs
+ Knowledge of stage makeup applications including air brushing and prosthetics
+ Experience in a theatrical environment including running dressing tracks and quick changes
+ Familiarity with hand sewing and machine stitching
**Additional Information :**
This is a **shipboard** role
You must:
+ Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
+ Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
+ Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
+ If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations
Your Responsibilities:
+ Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
+ Complete a pre-employment medical
+ Obtain a criminal background check
+ Bring approved work shoes
