QUALIFICATIONS:

The Englewood Board of Education is seeking applications for the following position:
Credit Recovery Instructor (Grades 10, 11 and 12)
Dwight Morrow High School/Academies@Englewood
Program: The Credit Recovery Instructor will provide one-to-one live virtual teaching for students to meet a sixty(60) hour per course requirement for credit recovery.
Dates: January 23 - May 22, 2026
Times: To be determined pursuant to course assignment
Overview
The Credit Recovery After-School Supervisor/Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of the school's credit recovery program to ensure students have structured opportunities to earn or regain course credits needed for on-time graduation. This role requires strong organization, communication, and leadership to maintain a productive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
NJ Certification: Administrator/Supervisor Certification
Familiar with the NJ Student Learning Standards
Deep knowledge of educational software applications
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Credit Recovery requirements and process
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the daily operations of the after-school credit recovery program, including scheduling, room assignments, and student placement.
Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers to verify student eligibility and credit needs.
Ensure instructors have necessary materials, access to online platforms, and student information to support learning.
Assist with troubleshooting technical or instructional issues related to credit recovery platforms.
Track and document student performance, completion rates, and behavioral incidents.
Serve as the primary point of contact for staff, students, and families regarding program operations.
