Position Overview: The Enlace Safe Passage Worker position is responsible for ensuring the safety of students traveling to and from school daily. The Safe Passage Worker will build a relationship with students and community members, including but not limited to politely greeting them daily. Key Responsibilities: Report to work on time each day. Check in and sign in with the team leader upon arrival. Greet students with a smile and positive attitude. All part time employees get 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Additionally they will receive 1 Paid Leave hour for every 35 hours worked. Retirement program. Position Overview: The Data and Impact Specialist works with the Enlace Data and Impact team to support program staff in data tracking and management for grant compliance and to capture and demonstrate impact through continuous quality improvement and evaluation. This position is an integral component of both the Data and Impact team and the program team(s). Specifically, this role directly supports program team members in data entry, extracts data and conducts data analysis for grant reports, and creates data visuals and presentations to engage program staff in data reflections. The Data and Impact specialist also collaboratively develops data collection tools with program and Data and Impact staff for reporting and evaluation processes. This role acts as liaison between the program team(s) and the Data and Impact team to ensure that Enlace Chicago is compliant with funders, accurately represents data with Neighborhood Network and other community partners, and provides adequate and appropriate training on data protocols to its community-facing program team members. The Data and Impact Specialist reports to the Data and Impact Director. This is a full-time hybrid position with an inoffice requirement of 2 days a week minimum with in-office options Tuesday through Thursday each week. Additional in-office days may be needed to support organizational, departmental, and program work or events. Key Responsibilities: Data Tracking and Grant Compliance Work closely with program team members to organize and input data on service and program delivery metrics. Extract data for analysis and create timely reports for grant compliance, program and/or network requirements, and evaluations. Provide administration, technical assistance, monitoring, and maintenance of Enlace database(s) which includes, but is not limited to: database training, developing database workflows/manuals/videos, data cleaning, identifying missing data, maintaining/archiving historical data, reports and dashboards, etc. Assist in developing data collection tools in collaboration with the Data and Impact Director, staff, and partners. Support in the development of data benchmarks and the tracking of benchmarks for the program(s) and/or Neighborhood Network and other collaboratives. Collaborate with the program director/manager and staff in the planning and preparation of regular meetings, grant compliance, and organizational and partner data administration. Develop data visuals and presentations for grant reports and for staff, partners, and community members using internal program data and community statistics. Represent Enlace at data management and compliance tables and other community meetings/initiatives focused on assigned programmatic area(s). Other data tracking and compliance duties as assigned. Impact and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Work hand in hand with Enlace team members, program participants, and program interest-holders to build evaluation capacity and co-create evaluation processes to capture complex initiatives and evaluate social impacts. Support the development of departmental and organizational capacity in creating program goals and outcomes, logic models, CQI models, and other evaluative processes. Support in program and organizational impact assessments by researching population and external data on assigned program area(s); and keep abreast of new trends in data, inventories of external data resources, validity of existing data repositories, etc. Attend program/department and staff meetings and relevant partner and community events to stay current on community needs, initiatives, and systemic issues. Other CQI and impact duties as assigned. Core Competencies: Demonstrated data management, analysis, and interpretative skills to support programmatic decision-making and other goals. FVCA camp staff are responsible for the general supervision and engagement of all campers in both our kids and teen camp programs. They provide a structured positive and safe environment for them to experience God in a camp setting. Our goal is to help our children explore nature, play games, bond with other campers, have fun but most importantly learn about Jesus Christ in an extraordinary way. Being patient, knowledgeable of camp activities and having the ability to build good relationships with children and teens are three essential traits for our staff. Role & Responsibilities: Supervise, guide, love, and care for a group of 7-10 campers at a week's time during the entire summer season at FVCA. Consistently engage with campers throughout the day and week including discussions over meal time, cabin devotionals, chapel and other planned activity sessions. Always create and maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the Summer camp. Empower, serve, encourage, love and support all campers consistently. Follow all guidelines of FVCA, including the philosophy, goals, and objectives and also follow all of FVCA's safety procedures at all times. Maintain the safety of campers at all times, placing their welfare and interest above everything else. Help campers become more aware of God in each aspect of their lives so they are capable of continued growth on their own after camp. Assist with program evaluation at the end of each session and at the end of the summer. Assist in all scheduled program activities in the various areas of the camp when requested. Assist with recreational and educational activities (such as swimming, hiking, canoeing, crafting etc.) Escort and oversee children to cabin or activities when necessary. Educate campers through games and explorations. Resolve occasional fights between children and address behavioral issues. Ensure camping sites are clean and that campers don't litter in recreational areas or nature paths. Perform basic first aid or take care of injuries as needed. Complete accurate incident reports, camper report logs and meal count documentation. Attend all staff meetings and morning staff devotionals daily. Assist with camper morning and night-time routines. Take part in helping with the check-in and check out process of all campers off site. All camp staff will be asked to do other different tasks and or assignments as needed. Requirements/Qualifications: Have a life that exemplifies a relationship with Jesus Christ which also impacts the lives of others. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass a state and federal background check. Must have regular church attendance and a pastor/church leader reference. Must be able to adapt and relate, cross-culturally and embrace diversity. Must be coachable and have a willing heart to be challenged and receive guidance and direction on a daily basis. Job Description Work with students to create substantive media products, including audio and video that promote the mission and values of Vivian E. Summers and HRDI. Orchestrate the production of Vivian E. Summers internet radio station and internet streaming. Instructs students in art and video production, utilizing various teaching methods, audiovisual aids and other materials to supplement presentation. Provide other services as needed and agreed to by the Principal of Vivian E. Summers Elementary School Graphic design and website development for the HRDI organization. Coordinate and participate in a variety of tasks related to the operation of video, photographic, and audio equipment, including but not limited to, videotaping and editing complete projects and events in film-style, roll editing, and/or taking photographs. Coordinate audiovisual equipment setup for events. Qualifications College degree or five years of work experience within the field of graphic design and/or multimedia production. One year of experience working with adolescents (middle school and high school preferred). Some understanding of the academic and behavioral needs of students and intervention strategies utilized to assist them in the teaching/learning process is preferred.
