Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations of federal construction projects, ensuring that work is performed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all project specifications and government requirements. The Superintendent is the primary field contact for subcontractors, vendors, and quality control personnel, and works closely with the Project Manager and government representatives to coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure work is executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and federal agency standards (USACE, NAVFAC, VA, etc.).
Maintain daily site operations and enforce site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1 standards.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, field staff, and material deliveries to ensure efficient workflow and minimize project delays.
Participate in daily meetings and planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, and government representatives.
Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to support inspections, testing, and documentation for the Three Phases of Control.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including daily reports, labor and equipment logs, safety meetings, and field photos.
Monitor and enforce job site safety, including conducting daily safety briefings and ensuring corrective actions are taken for any deficiencies.
Identify and mitigate risks, delays, and potential conflicts through proactive planning and communication.
Manage project schedule updates and assist with sequencing of trades to keep construction activities on track.
Ensure all field changes are documented and communicated to the Project Manager for change management and contract compliance.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of construction supervision experience, preferably on federal, military, or government-funded projects.
Certifications:
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification - Required
USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM-C) Certification - Preferred
First Aid/CPR Certification - Preferred
In-depth knowledge of construction means and methods, federal contract specifications, and safety regulations (EM 385-1-1).

You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.

You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Roads Maintenance Worker

ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKER
STARTING PAY: $24.47 hour (Minimum Starting Wage)
Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties to build, repair, clear and maintain Iron County Roadways and other related duties. Operate heavy equipment to include backhoe, dump truck, front end loader, rollers, lowboy, trucks, grader, distributer, dozer, snowplow, mower, sprayer and other equipment used in transporting vehicles and equipment to job sites. Build and maintain county roadways. Remove snow in mountain and valley areas and prepare for emergency flood control, 24 hours per day. High School Diploma or equivalent AND One (1) year experience with the operation and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment. Preference will be given to those applicants with valid Utah CDL - Class A License and heavy equipment experience.

We are proud our sales consultants earn an average annual salary of $40,000 to $64,000, combining a base hourly rate plus uncapped commission. We provide paid training and a guaranteed ramp-up rate during your first 60 days of employment.
Employees accrue paid time off each pay period at a rate of no less than 40 hours per year for their first year and 80 hours per year each year thereafter. You are entitled to minimum requirements for paid sick leave under appropriate state law if applicable.

What we're looking for...
* High school diploma or GED.
* One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Training Requirements
All Sales Consultants must attend and complete a four-day New Hire University (NHU) training program within two weeks of their official start date. This class may include overnight travel at the company's expense. Various online and computer-based training will be required throughout your employment with Victra.

GIS COORDINATOR

GIS Coordinator
FULL TIME/ CAREER SERVICE/ BENEFITTED POSITION
Performs a variety of advanced, complex technical and general administrative duties related to the development or creation of digitized maps through a geographic information system (GIS) using DOS/UNIX, ARCINFO, AUTOCAD or related computer program application(s). Works under the general guidance and direction of the Iron County I.T. Director and I.T. Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree (minimum) in a related mapping, engineering or computer technologies field and at least four (4) years of related experience with two (2) years direct GIS experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must have and maintain a valid Utah Driver's License and compliance with Iron County's vehicle/driving policy.
Attend training when needed or scheduled.
Be available to work occasional, extended hours and/or weekends (as needed) to maintain computer operations or address emergencies.
Must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain NCIC criminal background clearance.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with Iron County drug and alcohol policies and guidelines.
Knowledge of complex math and computer aided engineering; technical tools and equipment associated with drafting and cartography; mapping scales and their most appropriate use; basic civil engineering practices and procedures; survey practices and procedures; legal documents and terminology; computerized software and methods (UNIX, DOS, AUTOCAD, ARCVIEW, ARCINFO, Windows, etc.).
Skill in providing excellent customer service; managing stress and meeting deadlines; exercising initiative, independent judgment and resourcefulness in varying conditions; operating calculators and standard office equipment.
Ability to perform complex computer mapping and mapping evaluations; perform complex mathematical computations; draft technical reports and documents; follow directions given both verbally and in writing; prioritize and organize responsibilities; learn and recommend new and improved procedures; maintain cooperative working relationships; maintain accuracy and attention to detail in work assignments; work unsupervised and accept responsibility for actions; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; distill relevant and useful elements from vast amounts of information; understand and follow broad objectives and instructions; read, comprehend and apply rules, regulations and procedures; maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
