EnSafe was founded in June 1980 to advise industry and government in the then-nascent field of environmental science, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Nashville, Tennessee office opens in 1989.
Charleston, South Carolina, office launches in 1991.
EnSafe initiates in-house geophysics program in 1993.
In 1993 EnSafe opens new offices in Pensacola, Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina.
EnSafe opens its Bowling Green office in 1994.
EnSafe launches in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1995.
EnSafe's Cleveland, Ohio office opens in 1995.
EnSafe's Information Technology services group launches in 1997.
EnSafe's logo gets an update in 1997.
EnSafe acquires EMPE Inc. in 2001, forming the largest Tennessee-based environmental consulting firm.
In 2007 EnSafe becomes one of the Southeast United States’s largest providers of health and safety services with the acquisition of PSC Safety and Health Services, Inc.
In 2014 EnSafe's comprehensive EHS service offerings throughout the Northeast expand with acquisition of EnviroSense in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
EnSafe expands westward with acquisition of the Environmental Services Practice of E2 Managetech in 2017.
EnSafe's 2018 acquisition of Cirrus, based in the greater Dallas area and Houston, Texas, expands footprint in burgeoning Texas market.
