The HSSE & Compliance Coordinator provides administrative & technical support for EnSiteUSA. Primary responsibilities include overseeing confidential and time sensitive safety information/items and the maintenance of the corporate drug and alcohol program. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES OF THE JOB Electrical System design and associated calculations to produce the following drawings: Understanding of designing AC Collection Systems Understanding of designing DC Collection Systems Understanding of designing Battery and Inverter Systems Understanding of designing Grounding Plans Understanding of designing Conduit and Cable Routing Plans Understanding of designing Conduit and Cable Schedules Understanding of designing One-line Drawings Knowledge of designing Power Distribution Panel Schedules Ability to design Control and Communication Electrical layout for PV Solar and Battery systems Electrical Analysis using ETAP and SKM (or similar) Experience in system design with interconnection Completed training in PVSyst modeling Analyzing technical feasibility of Designs or Engineering Ability to create project Electrical Bill of Materials Additional Duties: Support Electrical designers by reviewing drawings and verify compliance to design specifications, industry standards, and regulations and codes. Assist in preparation of specifications of inverters, PV Modules, transformers, panel boards, cabling, protection devices, trenching or cable trays, and balance of plant equipment. Assist in design calculations to size: conduits, cable tray, cables, transformers, breakers, panel boards, and UPS systems. Collaborating with and learning from Lead Engineer to optimize system performance, often requiring strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to apply electrical calculations per National Electric Code (NEC). Ability to apply National Electric Code (NEC), NESC C2, and IEEE 1547 & 2030. Skilled in the use of computer equipment, printers, phone systems, and able to quickly develop a proficient working knowledge of the Companys software programs. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate policies, procedures and objectives effectively. Must be capable of working under pressure as well as organizing and planning efficiently. Must have effective analytical skills for assessing and evaluating. Must manage time well and be able to focus on a variety of tasks simultaneously. Must have a valid drivers license. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS 4 Year B.S. in Electrical Engineering. E.I.T and P.E. or ability to obtain. WORK ENVIRONMENT Most work is performed in an office environment at normal noise levels. Occasional travel by car and/or air to job sites or branch offices is required. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, and may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week depending upon workload. Job DescriptionSalary: Note: Accepting resumes. The Safety Inspector reports directly to the Project/ Construction Manager. The Safety Inspector's duties and responsibilities require they be knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of pipeline construction, operation, and inspection. The Safety Inspector's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Primary Functions: Enforces safety policies, plans and specifications, based on OSHA 1926 Standards and State and Federal standards, and common best practices for the industry. Maintains continual communications with Company and "key" personnel to ensure compliance with the safety requirements. Provides safety meetings for field and key personnel with pertinent information related to project safety and hazardous conditions. Makes recommendations for safety compliance between the Company and Contractor. Participates with management in developing safety meetings and material for "key" personnel. Assures adherence to safety requirements regarding recognized hazardous conditions. Provides recommendations for preventative measures to minimize accidents in construction activities. Follows EnSiteUSA Safety and Health procedures. Qualifications: Has a minimum of five (5) years safety experience in the pipeline or construction industry. Able to assume the role of both Consultant and Safety Inspector, as circumstances dictate, to Construction Management and Company regarding safety and hazardous conditions. Trained in Pipeline Safety Regulations, and OSHA Construction Safety with heavy emphasis in regards to Excavation Safety, and Hazardous Conditions Recognition. Has proven ability and a thorough understanding of Company Safety Policy, OSHA 1926, DOT regulations, Federal and State safety codes. Is versed in Company policy, procedures, training, and practices regarding safety and construction. Has actual field experience regarding safety, hazardous conditions, and related circumstances. Has the ability to recognize hazardous situations and recommend corrective measures.
