Material Handler - 1st Shift Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. What You'll Do: Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant. With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions. Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety. Put product away physically into location and in SAP. Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks. Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy. Entegris is currently seeking a Compliance & Process Technician to join our Microcontamination Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes and pressure vessel assemblies meet regulatory and customer requirements. This position focuses on in-process controls to enhance on-time shipment and reduce rework on submittals to the quality department. What You'll Do: Perform in-process evaluations on purifying systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes and customer specifications. Identify and implement improvements to reduce non-conformities and enhance on-time-shipment (OTS). Work closely with engineering, planning, and manufacturing to resolve issues and prevent defects at the source. Maintain status boards for each purifier and escalate issues, shortages, and line stops. Mentor technicians on best practices in documentation, assembly inspection, and compliance awareness. The position will be provide support and expertise for gas purification technology. This position will contribute to next-generation technology development and applications-based activities of the R&D team through hands-on experimentation, using state-of-the-art gas-phase analytical instrumentation (GC, FT-IR, APIMS, CRDS, etc.), as well as characterization tools such as porosimetry, thermogravimetry, and diffraction. Assist the Manager, Facilities, in development of long/short range plans, conceptual designs, layout requirements, and documentation for the facility. Work with both EHS and Facilities to create sustainability opportunities. Document and report annual waste quantities, including utilities, paper, general waste, and wood-related debris. Work annually to create opportunities for water and energy consumption reductions. Ensure that fuel containers and propane tanks are certified and within specifications, and manage hydro testing as needed. Conduct monthly inspections of emergency breathing apparatus and related items, including hydro testing and refills. Manage monthly inspection, calibration, and repair of atmospheric monitors. Maintain emergency facilities equipment, including emergency lights, eye wash and shower stations, fire suppression equipment, and first aid supplies. Manage, improve, implement cameras throughout the site, work with global IT to make sure infrastructure is operational. Assist with contractor safety packets and new contractor onboarding. Coordinate with contractors on specific projects. Manage necessary inventories through purchasing software. Contribute to and lead department safety meetings and briefings. Create capital projects as needed, related to job requirements. Assist EHS with various plant issues. Be available on a 24-hour call basis to address building downtime situations as needed. The Role: Our Company is seeking a Facilities Technician II to join our team. The Facilities Technician II is responsible for general plant maintenance and repairs of the buildings and equipment. This position will work to keep the plant tidy and functioning properly, and must be able to move quickly from project to project as the needs arise. The Facilities Tech must work well with different departments to make sure needs are met in the proper method and timeframe, understanding and using many different tools and equipment while making sure these items are kept in good working order. What You'll Do: Complete production equipment repairs including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Create and maintain equipment records and documentation (SAP). Monitors assets regarding security measures, door security equipment, ensure it always remains functional including daily maintenance issues such as batteries and mechanical hardware. Ability to operate multiple models of forklifts, scissor lifts as well as flatbed trucks and pickup trucks with trailers. Ability to perform job tasks, including lifting, using ladders, and climbing stairways. Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance on a production equipment. Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems. Maintain an employee roster with door access and building security, and ensure an accurate roster is prepared as part of the plant's Emergency Action Plan. * Manage building access systems, including door locks, badge controls, security systems, access codes, and issuance and maintenance of door access badges. * Assist the Manager, Facilities, in development of long/short range plans, conceptual designs, layout requirements, and documentation for the facility. * Work with both EHS and Facilities to create sustainability opportunities. * Document and report annual waste quantities, including utilities, paper, general waste, and wood-related debris. * Work annually to create opportunities for water and energy consumption reductions. * Ensure that fuel containers and propane tanks are certified and within specifications, and manage hydro testing as needed. * Conduct monthly inspections of emergency breathing apparatus and related items, including hydro testing and refills. * Manage monthly inspection, calibration, and repair of atmospheric monitors. * Maintain emergency facilities equipment, including emergency lights, eye wash and shower stations, fire suppression equipment, and first aid supplies. * Manage, improve, implement cameras throughout the site, work with global IT to make sure infrastructure is operational. * Assist with contractor safety packets and new contractor onboarding. * Coordinate with contractors on specific projects. * Manage necessary inventories through purchasing software. * Contribute to and lead department safety meetings and briefings. * Create capital projects as needed, related to job requirements. * Assist EHS with various plant issues. * Be available on a 24-hour call basis to address building downtime situations as needed. * Any other duties as assigned. Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing OEM Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems and subassemblies in a class 100 cleanroom work environment. This will include, but is not limited to, mechanical and electrical assembly based on engineering drawings and/or work instructions while wearing required cleanroom garments and protective equipment. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. What You'll Do: Work from instructions, drawings, schematics, piping and instrumentation drawings, illustrations, and process documentation to assemble a variety of mechanical, electrical subassemblies and systems with supervision. Work in Class 100 (ISO 5) environment wearing the appropriate required garments. Follow verbal instructions. Build sub-assemblies with supervision. Install tube fittings using VCR (vacuum coupling radius), and compression fittings with supervision. Follow engineering and customer requirement specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. Perform routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety). Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase on-time shipments. Work safely and recognize the safety of others. Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
