AP&C is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of transactions interfacing to General Ledger from various source systems, including PeopleSoft (PS) Treasury, PS Accounts Payable, PS Payroll, and Corporate Maximo. Some of AP&C's key functions include cash accounting controls, customer remittance balancing controls, debt accounting, AP accounting controls, and Materials & Inventory accounting. AP&C works closely with and provides accounting support and guidance to Treasury, Shared Services' Finance Ops, Supply Chain groups and functional business unit representatives. This position supports a manager and/or departmental peers by performing accounting related activities; applying accounting standards and principles to financial transactions, policy interpretation and application; execution of business processes and associated controls.
