JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Data & AI Architect will lead the architecture and design of modern Data and AI solutions that advance Encova's enterprise data and digital strategy. About the Role:
The Salesforce Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for working in a multi-channel, cross cloud Salesforce environment and needs to have a strong overall background in data architecture, integrations, consulting skills and multiple years of hands-on experience with Salesforce products.
This position will have a 15-20% travel requirement to the McLean, VA area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design scalable solutions and lead end-to-end architecture for complex business challenges.
Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate architectural decisions.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and proactively identify problem statements with innovative solutions.
Provide thought leadership and act as a technical subject matter expert for clients
Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
Serve as a technical team leader to US based and international project teams
Ability to efficiently manage several projects at one time
Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently, multi-task, allocate time appropriately and prioritize effectively
Produce blueprints and documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
Education & Experience Requirements:
5+ years experience of relevant, client-facing experience
Strong, hands-on experience in Salesforce Data Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Deep understanding of Apex, LWC, API integration patterns, OAuth, data modeling, and Salesforce security.
Ability to create PoCs quickly and effectively.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Experience with Mulesoft, AWS, or other integration platforms.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Git, Autorabit).
Certified Application Architect / System Architect.
Preferred Experience:
Enterprise environments such as banking and financial services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop specific solutions leveraging technologies and design practices that enable a scalable, extensible and flexible solution.
- Develop and provide presentations and demonstrations of technology solutions to both internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Extend and partner with internal/external resources to identify and contribute to continuous improvements of open source projects across multiple open source technologies/projects.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.

- At least 10 years of technical experience in IT including estimation and successful bid development is required.
- Understanding of current state and federal solution space and government initiatives with demonstrated capture, proposal, estimation, and/or bid experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading competitive top-down estimates, BOE development, and driving estimation using techniques such as: Expert Judgement, Comparative/Analogous Estimation, Parametric Estimation, Top-down Estimation, Wideband Delphi, and Three-point Estimation for Managed Services, IT Services, and Software Development opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis - competitive patterns and pricing approaches, trends in awards (best value vs LPTA).
- Proven experience communicating with non-technical business personnel and ability to interact and work in a team environment.
- Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills to senior management both internal and external including SMEs.
- Ability to articulate and explain high-level architecture and design ideas to larger audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a flexible and fast-paced environment across multiple time zones and locations.
