The Pipeline Trainee Operator works a rotating shift (after training is complete), travels and cross-trains in the operations and maintenance of equipment and processes associated with pipeline operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Performs terminal and station operations by coordinating with Pipeline Control and other affiliates to ensure timely, safe and quality controlled handling of petroleum products.
* Tank gauging, manifold line up, development of paperwork and log/record information related to inventories and quality control.
* Must be knowledgeable of environmental regulations and company policy concerning handling and disposal of hazardous substances.
* Participates in available cross training to effectively develop skills in areas specific to other operators and technicians.
* Performs mechanical functions that will include inspecting, checking, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in order to maintain high levels of safe and productive equipment performance.
* Routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors such as bearing and seal replacements, alignments, drain piping modifications, maintenance for electronic transmitters, valve actuators, etc.
* Review procedures as necessary to achieve good workmanlike performance and ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies.
* Maintain close contact with the Area Supervisor/Manager regarding maintenance trouble reports and scheduled equipment maintenance to affect a minimum interruption of product throughput.
* Optimize work to affect a minimal amount of overtime.
* Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.
* Attend all safety meetings and complete safety training courses as required.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

If you are selected as the Offshore Oiler, you will be working under the direction of the First Assistant Engineer and the Junior Engineer. The Oiler must have a good understanding of all Engine room machinery and auxiliary systems to assist in recognizing trends, assisting with plant operations and troubleshooting, and responding to casualties. The Oiler is required to participate in all drills and emergencies and to assist with the enforcement of rules, procedures, regulations, and pollution prevention. In addition, the Oiler performs routine maintenance and assists engineers with repairs of shipboard machinery and is also responsible for making good rounds of the equipment, recording pressure and temperature readings, and reporting any anomalies.

The 3rd Mate must have a good understanding of all deck machinery and cargo systems and be proficient at navigation and cargo watch keeping. The Pipeline Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Performing or assisting with routine maintenance of turbines, pumps and electric motors such as bearing and mechanical seal replacements, alignments, couplings, sumps, fans, drain piping modifications, etc.
* Maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators(electric and manual), etc.
* Assist with replacement of turbines, pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.
* Maintain and operate custody transfer measurement facilities and perform product quality control tests.
* Participate and successfully complete training programs, process safety management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations.
* Must meet the requirements of the Company's Operator Qualification
* Reviews procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.
* Performs remedial and preventative maintenance and maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.

* Provide training and technical support.

* Responds to operational emergencies.

* Maintain and operate corrosion control equipment.
* Attend and participate in damage prevention meetings.
* Interface with various landowners including private, state, federal, etc.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
* VoTech certificate or Associates Degree or related work experience is a preferred.
* Previous experience and knowledge of industry related maintenance and repair standards preferred.
* Knowledge of the general design and operation of NGL and crude oil pipelines.
* Basic computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the energy industry.
* 2-4 years previous experience with the operation, maintenance, and/or construction of a crude oil and NGL pipeline facilities preferred.
* Possess a strong commitment to personal and job safety.
* Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment.
* Knowledge of pumps, regulators, MOV's, electronic controls and medium electrical voltage is desired with an understanding of NGL and crude oil pipelines.
* Ability to read and interpret alignment sheets, schematics and P&IDs.
* Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, decision making skills and strong work ethic.
* Able to work independently as well as maintain and promote good working relationships within a team environment.
