The Enterprise Applications Manager is a new role within our Business Technology team, with a primary focus on leading technical operations and managing the high-availability, scalability and resiliency of business applications. You will drive technical excellence at all levels, working with cross functional teams to support execution of the organization's vision through innovation and leadership.

You will oversee the adherence to deployment windows and release processes and facilitate the appropriate communication channels across teams and with stakeholders.

You will work closely with all IT teams and the project management office, understand technology deeply at both the infrastructure level and at the application development level, understand where the gaps often are between these two, fill those gaps and take proactive steps to prevent application emergencies from ever happening.

You should have technical expertise in software build and deployment methodologies. You will oversee and manage continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) across all technology solutions and work with dev leads, program owners and testers to implement governance and controls to enforce quality standards across the software delivery pipeline and continuously improve release management practices.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Lead the Application Services Team in ensuring business continuity, supervising enterprise integrations, workload automation and remediation of issues. Collaborate with business and IT partners to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of software and systems, in an agile setting, to fulfill business objectives and support business processes. Act as the Product Owner of the DevOps product backlog Using Agile Methodologies coordinate the design and delivery of new applications and improvements to existing applications across your team. Proactively plan and work with Product Managers on release windows across projects and portfolios and assist in handling interdependencies to ensure achievement are realized and the integrity of the release can be measured Manage risks and issues that may affect release scope and schedule Participate in release readiness reviews, achievement reviews, and business go/no-go reviews. Co-ordinate launch activities including the execution of deployment plans and checklists. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce enterprise complexity and improve application resiliency and stability. Champion DEVOPS practices, and tools that increases the organization's ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity Be responsible for the Enterprise APM and Logging solutions, delivering an alerting solution to engage teams responsible for issues across enterprise applications. Develop and maintain metrics to reflect availability and operability of software, systems, and products across the enterprise. Work with development teams on appropriate solutions for source code branching, merging and versioning strategies.

7+ years of experience of IT experience 2+ years of DevOps or Release Management leadership experience 2+ years of hands-on working experience to build CI/CD processes using Microsoft .NET technologies using C# along with build and setup tools specific to MS.NET 1+ years of hands-on working experience to build CI/CD processes using Salesforce DevOps tools 1+ years of hands-on working experience with managing source code repositories like Azure DevOps, TFS and GIT and automation of configuration management tasks.
Required Educational Level
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or MIS and relevant field of study is preferred.
