The Rental/Pro Shop Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with boat rentals, equipment purchases, and providing expert advice on gear selection. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment surrounded by fellow water sports enthusiasts. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the appropriate rental equipment or gear from the pro shop. Process rental reservations, including collecting payment, completing rental agreements, and providing safety instructions. Ensure all rental equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and sanitized before and after each use. Assist customers in the pro shop by providing product information, recommendations, and facilitating sales transactions. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in restocking merchandise as needed. Provide basic instruction and guidance to customers on equipment usage and safety procedures. Assist in organizing and coordinating rental activities, including scheduling, boat preparation, and maintenance. Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, preferably in the recreational or marine industry. Knowledge of boating, watersports, and related equipment is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and work effectively as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. Basic computer skills and familiarity with rental reservation systems is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
