Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Varying levels of positions may include the following tasks:
Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications. Troubleshooting, inspecting, and fixing issues that arise with equipment as applicable. Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.
Monitoring the operation from the control room on computers, if applicable
Sampling and testing products
Preparing railcars and trucks; loading and unloading trucks, railcars and bags, as necessary
Packing, inspecting, and dumping bags, totes, sacks or drums

Work Environment:

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for achieving assigned goals in the area of production, safety, quality, performance, and cost.

We are looking for motivated Operators to join our team in our Amherst, NY location. Entry Operators are responsible for the productive & efficient operations of diversified equipment for the manufacture of product in an assigned department within production. This position works 12 hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Shifts and overtime are subject to change based upon business conditions.

Required Qualifications

* Basic math, reading, writing, and mechanical skills
* Previous forklift truck certification preferred
