HVAC Operations Manager - Commercial & Refrigeration Services

We're seeking an Operations Manager to lead our Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Service Division - a commanding role for an individual with deep field experience, operational foresight, and a strategic mindset. This position sits at the center of service execution, technical consulting, and job performance, directly impacting client trust, revenue growth, and team excellence.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technical consultation, service solution development, and operational execution across our commercial HVAC and refrigeration portfolio. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that blends field expertise with executive-level communication. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable evaluating systems in a mechanical room and partnering with facility leaders to drive clear, effective service outcomes.
Total Compensation: Up to $175,000 (base salary + performance incentives)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead high-level technical consultations with commercial clients, offering strategic solutions for complex HVAC and refrigeration challenges.
Drive the diagnosis, scope development, and solution architecture for large repairs, system retrofits, and capital replacement opportunities.
Oversee job performance from consultation through execution, including part logistics, technician coordination, and customer communication.
Serve as the primary technical authority on large-scale service work, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and long-term performance.
Mentor and support field technicians on advanced diagnostics, best practices, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
