ABCEP Membership Management Certification News PartnershipsCERTIFICATIONCertified Environmental Professional: For the last 30 years the Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) designation has been awarded to senior managers and other qualified individuals as a way to demonstrate their professional skills and high standards of conduct. The CEP designation is a national system of excellence and says to employers, clients, colleagues and the public that an individual is a knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated professional. The designation CSDP identifies individuals who have demonstrated high levels of technical expertise in energy management and environmental practices.
The designation as a Registered Environmental Manager is meant to assure the public that the REM has demonstrated an established level of competence in the field of Environmental Management. Through the research performed in the development of the REM certification program, candidates are measured against standards that reflect competence in the role as it is practiced today.
