**Your Opportunity**

Stantec's Environmental Services Practice is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Remediation Consultant (Geologist/Engineer/Environmental Scientist) to support our team of professionals on environmental site assessment and remediation.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

+ Participate as a member of a large, inter-disciplinary team based across the U.S. in support of a RCRA project based in the Southern California area. The role is focused on surficial media (soil, sediment, and soil vapor).

+ Oversee a core group of 4-6 individuals in support of RCRA tasks, including but not limited to, corrective measure study, interim cleanup actions, and risk assessment support.

+ Coordinate with core team, database administrators, and GIS analysts to prepare deliverables.

+ Communicates with Project Managers and Client Service Manager regarding schedule, deliverables, issues, and overall team communication.

+ Participate in meetings with the client, regulatory agencies (primarily DTSC and LARWQCB), and public. Expected to provide input, feedback, and/or responses.

+ Participate and provide input for client /contractor meetings and presentations.

+ Familiarity with ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro a plus.

**Qualifications**

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**

+ 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-Hr Supervisor training

+ California Professional licensure (P.G. or P.E.)

+ Experience leading projects comprised of large inter-disciplinary teams

+ Excellent writing, communication, project management/organization skills

+ Willingness to travel for project work and business development opportunities.

+ Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.

**This Opportunity**

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time **Lead Environmental Consultant** to support our **Massachusetts** operations, in our **Boston** and **Worcester** offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

The successful candidate will provide technical direction and lead client-facing teams in the investigation, design, implementation, and management of impacted site cleanup. They will also provide project leadership for corrective strategies, classification of contaminated materials, development of process and infrastructure, and assisting with recommendations to avert degradation of air, water, and land resources. They will ensure that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
