Position Summary:
Audubon's Government Affairs team interacts with leading decisionmakers in Washington, DC and around the country to protect birds and the places they need. The Government Affairs intern is a paid internship opportunity in Washington, DC, for an individual interested in public policy and advocacy. During the internship, you will work with Government Affairs staff to:
Create and design outreach materials, such as factsheets, to educate key decision-makers and other stakeholders about our policy priorities.
Provide research assistance as needed to support government affairs work, including researching decision makers, attending briefings and hearings, or reviewing proposed legislation.
Help with office tasks including assembling briefing folders, preparing mailings, and helping with various tasks for off-site events.

The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a temporary Coordinator, US Mobilization.
This role will develop and improve the operational structures, processes, and procedures that allow the Mobilization Team to scale the number and quality of relationships with supporters, volunteers, students, and partners. The Coordinator will provide excellent intra and cross departmental support, be highly detail oriented and solutions driven, and work confidently with confidential and time sensitive information in a fast-paced professional environment.
This is a temporary, fixed‑term position for 3 months, working 20 hours per week. It is hybrid for candidates in the Washington, DC area (onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays) and remote for non‑local candidates.
It reports to the National Programs Director for US Mobilization and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities:
Mobilization Operations and Team Management
Manage the Mobilization inbox(es), ensuring timely, professional responses and that all opportunities are captured and routed appropriately.

Essential Functions
In coordination with the Senior Director, assess opportunities and identify policy priorities to advance to goals of Audubon's Wings Over Working Land Initiative and Audubon's Healthy Birds, Healthy Planet Policy Agenda.
In partnership with policy and government affairs staff across the organization, develop and implement strategies in support of policy goals and objectives, providing leadership on issues that specifically support working grassland and forest ecological systems.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in political science, economics, natural resources or related field and 7+ years' experience on Capitol Hill, with a policy-oriented nonprofit organization, or with a relevant federal agency working on environmental and/or agricultural issues is required. The Organizing & Campaign Associate will support the development, coordination, and implementation of organizing strategies and campaigns across the Leadership Development & Organizing (LDO) division. This role bridges programmatic and campaign functions, supporting Student & Youth, Faith Community, and State Policy Organizing teams to help build a mobilized base, develop campaign infrastructure, strengthen coalition engagement, translate programmatic work into organizing outcomes and advance CDF's child-centered, racial equity-informed policy agenda.

Position Summary:

Scope: The Director of Procurement is a key member of the Finance team at the Sierra Club. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of Finance Operations, this role is responsible for establishing and leading a comprehensive and sustainable procurement function, including strategic sourcing and supplier management. * Act as the product owner of key analytics and reporting data assets and tools, working in collaboration with colleagues from across the Audubon data teams to ensure selection of appropriate technologies and methodologies and overseeing the product lifecycle in order to deliver high quality and efficient solutions to user-driven requirements and strategic priorities. Qualifications and Experience:
* Master's degree in Data Analytics/Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline and 10+ years of directly relevant work experience and 3+years of leadership experience developing and managing data analytics, data science and analytics engineering products, workflows, tools and processes. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
* Proven success as a data analytics and data product leader. Position Summary:

Hire and manage a team of Regional Data Associates to facilitate tool set-up, data standards enforcement, and ad hoc data requests related to voter outreach
Administer outreach tools for departments running voter outreach programs (past vendors have included NGPVAN, PDI, Hustle, Scale to Win, Reach, and Mobilize)
Build and maintain relationships with DCCC organizing vendors; collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute cycle roadmaps to ensure that outreach tools meet DCCC needs and are streamlined for voter contact and volunteer engagement
Attend regular cross-committee meetings with leadership from sister committees including the DNC and DSCC to help create common data standards for VAN usage
Create and enforce committee-wide data standards for voter outreach programs
Manage a data ticketing system for staff to ask questions and receive support related to campaigns data and tool administration
Supporting Voter Protection staff in ballot cure-related data management and reporting, as well as supporting LBJ, the DNC's Voter Protection CRM
Maintain relationships with state voter file managers to facilitate accurate receipt of election data from states, including polling locations and early vote uploads
Manage VAN Targets for staff and work closely with Engineering and Analytics teams to make sure that voter contact universes are syncing across various outreach tools

Requirements

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
Responsibilities:

* Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying impact measurement analytics and reporting products to support program management, progress tracking, data storytelling, and/or decision support in conservation or other environmental or social issue spaces required.
* Experience and knowledge of impact strategy and impact design approaches and best practices in conservation or other environmental or social impact spaces required.
* Experience with impact measurement approaches and best practices for functional business areas such as marketing, development, finance, and other operational domains strongly preferred. Experience designing, tracking and reporting using standard approaches such as KPIs and OKRs preferred.
* Success in delivering large data analytics and reporting initiatives in matrixed organizations. Experience transforming how data delivers business value and impact value in large, federated non-profit, government, or other environmental or social impact organization strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated experience utilizing modern data infrastructure tools such as cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc), data integration and orchestration tools (Fivetran, Airflow, dbt, etc), business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Sigma, etc), CRM systems (Salesforce, Everyaction, etc), and other enterprise data tools (such as Airtable) required.
* Expert level coding ability in SQL, Python, R, and/or other coding languages for data analytics, data science and/or data engineering required.
* Expertise in utilizing Airtable or equivalent low-code/no-code development platforms for enterprise-level information management, knowledge management, or other data product development strongly preferred.
* Experience with geographic information systems (GIS), spatial data analytics and visualization strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated experience applying technical coordination and project management best practices using tools such as Jira required. PMP or other relevant certification preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
* Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and apply product needs and requirements from a diverse set of organizational stakeholders, and to communicate effectively with non-technical collaborators.
* Demonstrated experience preparing effective written materials, presentations, and other documentation and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
* Curiosity to stay on the cusp of software and product trends in non-profits and the greater tech industry.
