Ensure and optimize process operation. Guarantee the quality of the wastewater collected and purified. Recommend technical developments, manage subcontractors and supplies. Apply quality, environment & safety systems.

**The position is open to a hybrid work schedule allowing work from home several days per week**

Minimum Qualifications

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Essential Functions:

Test Setup

+ Assembles and configures process equipment, instrumentation and test equipment, data acquisition and control equipment, and customer hardware under test equipment per written documentation and engineering direction.

+ Performs setup inspections and validates proper setup configuration prior to test.

+ Documents all setup elements that are critical to quality, executes equipment checklists, signs off on documents attesting to the accuracy and completeness of required steps.

+ Coordinates with peers, customers, engineering, and QC for verification of setup parameters.

Test Execution

+ Monitors ongoing tests and records required information.

+ Documents test progress as required by procedures including clear and complete notes of observations, readings and measured values of key parameters, and pictures, videos, or other means of capturing and documenting test execution.

+ Observes all test details and reports any anomalies to ETL engineering.

+ Safeguards the integrity of the test through close monitoring of equipment in operation.

+ In the event of emergency, protects the safety the test article and ETL equipment then recovers the environment conditions.

Test Completion

+ Collects test data package and delivers to ETL Engineer.

+ Closes out test work orders and returns to Engineering task leader.

+ Cleans up test area upon completion and returns equipment to standard configuration.

General

+ Receives daily assignments from Technician Floor lead.

+ Maintains certified status for all equipment which he/she is expected to operate.

+ Fabricates, calibrates, and installs sensors as required.

+ Performs 5S+1 duties and verifies assigned area meets 5S+1 requirements.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma

+ Associate degree in science preferred.

+ Ability to read, interpret, and execute tests using a set of written instructions and simple math.

+ High drive for results.

+ Excellent collaborative skills.

Preferred Additional Skills:

+ Thermal/Dynamics product development and qualification test experience is highly desired.
