Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to manage projects and oversee environmental permitting and due diligence within our Midwest Region. This position will require a thorough knowledge of the federal, state, and local permitting requirements associated with the development and construction of new projects throughout the U.S. in market sectors such as oil and gas, electric, and renewables. Project management responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Execution of and project management for multiple environmental projects which include multi-faceted components. The ideal candidate will use a background in the ecological sciences (wetland delineations, habitat studies, etc) and a thorough understanding of Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting, Rivers and Harbors Act Section 10 permitting, leading consultation under the Endangered Species Act and the National Historic Preservation Act. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced staff members. The base pay for this position ranges from $84,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,500/year in our highest geographic market.
