POSITION DESCRIPTION:
In support of commercial, federal and government contracts, the candidate must possess valid professional credentials in the form of certified industrial hygienist (CIH). This position will report to the VP of Engineering and Consulting.
Requires both field experience and familiarity of an organization's overall safety management system, including authority and responsibility to implement and enforce policies, procedures, and systems that accompany the organization's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan as well as Site-Specific Health & Safety Plans. Experience providing consulting services to the commercial and federal business sectors. Below are additional responsibilities:
Serve as an industrial hygiene subject matter expert both internally and client facing
Prepares proposals and industrial hygiene sampling plans (SOP)
Evaluates complex laboratory and field data collected during the assessment of physical, chemical, biological or environmental stressors and interprets data into valid conclusions in written reports
Perform indoor air quality and ventilation assessments
Performs environmental investigations for biological, physical, and chemical hazards
Provide technical expertise and knowledge with field monitoring equipment for industrial hygiene assessments
Write, prepare, and review reports
Staying current on industry best practices and regulations/standards as mandated by local, state and federal agencies
Attending trainings, meeting and conferences in order to develop professional network, stay current on knowledge and applications of industrial hygiene and maintain professional credentials
Create standard report templates(s) (IAQ, WAGS, USP-797, etc.) for IH reports
Site environmental safety and health experience should include hazardous and toxic waste management, task-based qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments, mathematical modeling (prospective and retrospective) of inhalation exposures, occupational safety audits, gap analysis, root cause analysis, PPE hazard assessments, activity and process hazard analysis, training (e.g., HAZWOPER) and development and implementation of OSHA-mandated programs and training.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Master or Bachelors Degree in Environmental or Health & Safety
Must possess Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing complex environmental projects from conception to completion. RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

Field Chemist - Traveling
Responsible for sorting, and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste. Will ensure compatibility and safety processes at all time for each job and lab pack services provided to customers. Heavy travel for extended periods of time will be required as this position will fill in at outside locations as necessary.

Incineration Engineer
As the Incineration Engineer you will be responsible for providing process expertise in the incineration of industrial waste materials. Ideal candidates will possess a broad set of skills and knowledge regarding incineration processes, including flue gas treatment unit operations, and will exhibit a deep understanding of the chemistry of industrial waste feeds and how those feeds impact the incineration process.

As a Senior Industrial Wastewater Engineer, you will lead and mentor junior engineers while partnering with EnSafe 's senior leaders across the U.S. to guide client industrial wastewater treatment projects and drive outcomes.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Technical strength with industrial wastewater (IWW) treatment and design engineering across a variety of industries.
Support or lead design of IWW collection, conveyance, and treatment projects.
Manage design-build and construction services.
Manage equipment selection and procurement, manage construction phase engineering services, and participate in design and construction meetings with clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
Lead technical teams working across multiple offices to:
develop treatment options and cost estimates,
prepare plans and specifications, including PFDs, P&IDs, and layouts, and
write work plans, design reports, SOPs, O&M manuals, and other documentation.
Provide inspection/troubleshooting support for existing IWW systems and identify enhancements.
Design and implement bench-scale and pilot-scale treatability studies, including data management and evaluation, mass balance/loading details, and treatment technology selection.
Participate in meetings with subcontractors, clients, and regulators.
Provide marketing/sales efforts, as well as proposal development.
Minimum Skill and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Master's degree in pertinent discipline preferred).
10-15 years of industrial wastewater design experience, with several years as a professional-in-responsible-charge.
Professional Engineer registration/License in FL, TX, TN, MA, or other states.

Essential Functions & Requirements:
* Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
* Utilizes understanding of waste generator requirements to provide insights to customers
* Manages customer inquiries and questions regarding Arcwood services, associated costs and proper documentation requirements; maintains an understanding of when to escalate customer issues
* Builds sustainable relationships and establishes trust with customers through routine communication, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Reviews, revises and completes waste profile forms, including but not limited to, reviewing SDS' and selecting proper RCRA hazardous waste codes; submits waste stream approval to appropriate department
* Develops and utilizes basic chemical knowledge as it pertains to various waste types within the industry and the available disposal options
* Utilizes a variety of tools to conduct research and partners with cross-functional teams to solve customer challenges, providing innovative solutions; coordinates with cross-functional teams to assign workflows to proper departments
* Provides follow-up on pending and new approvals to perform scheduling as soon as possible
* Reviews, prints, and sends new quotes to customers; requests and files signed copies of quotes
* Submits samples with required documentation for testing and waste approval as needed
* Conducts reviews of billing information for accuracy prior to finalization; resolves any billing discrepancies as needed
* Maintains accountability for insides sales to increase revenue in assigned territory(ies) by working closely alongside Sales counterpart
* Secures disposal outlets for customer waste that will be managed directly to third-party sites, including approvals, pricing and logistics as needed
* Conducts profit and cost analysis on new and current business, ensuring that the most profitable disposal method is being used; identifies opportunities for increasing margin dollars
* Receives waste orders from customers and completes appropriate shipping documentation, manifest, and labels as necessary
* Manages non-conforming waste situations in a timely manner, including manifest discrepancies
* Facilitates customer tours of Arcwood facilities as requested
* Maintains thorough and updated customer records
* Maintains the ability to travel to assigned territory annually, up to 10%
* Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
* Bachelor's degree (required); degree in environmental science or other technical field (preferred)
Experience:
* 2+ years of relevant experience, including but not limited to environmental, manufacturing, industrial or customer service sectors (required) -OR-
* In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associates degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to environmental, manufacturing, industrial or customer service sectors (required)
Competencies:
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
* Strong communication skills via phone, with the ability to listen actively
* Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to make strong decisions and execute patience under pressure
* Self-directed with the ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
* Basic working knowledge of all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services industry and DOT/RCRA regulations
* Strong working knowledge of computer programs and applications
* Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
