Use and maintain process simulation and modeling tools to support internal departments. Due to the location of testing services, candidates for this position must have access to a vehicle throughout their term of employment (mileage reimbursement available). Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: 4-year degree in Engineering, Environmental or other related science, or equivalent work experience in a technical-related field. 2-5 years of environmental, health or safety compliance experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in utilizing computer resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
