What You Will Bring: The successful candidate will bring * A bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, chemistry, biology, natural resources, soil science or comparable field from an accredited school. * Asbestos credentials for MN or other states, including asbestos inspector and asbestos supervisor certifications, MDH 2-day air monitoring, NIOSH 582 and AIHA Asbestos Analysts Testing (AAT) proficiency for on-site PLM air sample analysis. * 2 to 5+ years of experience in completion of asbestos inspection and asbestos abatement oversight and air monitoring. * Additional experience in environmental investigation, remediation, and/or brownfields redevelopment * Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. * Possess strong verbal communication, technical writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, ability to work alone or in group settings, and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. * Experience performing work under Minnesota state contracts (e.g., MPCA, MDA, MDH, MnDOT, etc.) is preferred. * Background in environmental investigation, remediation, brownfields redevelopment, or large-scale corridor Phase I/II ESAs is beneficial. * Familiarity with EIR field testing equipment (e.g., PID, YSI, peristaltic pump, vapor pin installation) is helpful. * Lead Risk Assessor credentials, XRF lead sampling or assessment experience are useful. * Proficiency with gINT geotechnical software and 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification are assets. * Rail safety certifications (E-rail safe or equivalent) are a plus. * Certification or interest in CHMM, CSP, PMP, PE, or PG licenses encouraged. * Safety-focused, organized, and collaborative with a growth mindset.
