* Hard Surface Maintenance and Repair - Repair and maintain the hard surfaces of the Milwaukee County Parks System, which include roads, parkways, parking lots, paths, trails, and walks. Maintenance includes crack filling, cutting, and milling. Repair consists of cutting, removing, and replacing with hot patch.
* Heavy Equipment Operation and Maintenance - Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment (skid steers, tractors, front end loaders), vehicle and trailers small to CDL Class A, and specialty equipment (lift trucks, tree spades, backhoe, and excavators). Includes snow and ice removal.
* Seasonal Crew Supervision - Supervising or acting as lead worker of seasonal crews responsible for plant health care, planting, and hedging. Crew will consist of peers and seasonal staff. Responsibilities include daily staff and vehicle assignments, and reporting status updates.

3 to 5 years of experience
Engineer-In-Training certification or Professional Engineering license
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and appropriate annual refresher certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
·MS in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or closely related field

We are looking to add to our clients growing team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are currently seeking an Environmental Engineer/Project Manager, with a focus on site characterization, environmental investigation related to soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion issues, and field support during remedy implementation and construction. This role will including working in a technical and project management leadership role with other highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. Remote opportunities are available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Be capable of managing financial and technical aspects of projects.
Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, scheduling and safety requirements.
Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables and regulatory submittals.
Be effective in assigning and managing work.
Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Have skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
Have experience with preparation and implementation of safety programs.
Have past hands-on experience in the field as well as planning and directing environmental field observation and testing programs; including laboratory test selection and data evaluation.
Work collaboratively and lead multi-disciplinary project teams on all aspects of the project to address client goals and objectives; with primary focus on:
Site investigations to delineate the extent of contamination in soil, groundwater, and soil gas
Developing remedial alternative analysis assessments and remedial action work plans;
Supporting remedy implementation and construction; and
Preparing proposals, project report/deliverables, and regulatory compliance submissions.
Skills/Experience
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field; Master’s degree highly preferred.
Minimum of 4 - 7+ years of relevant environmental field/office experience.
Professional Engineering or Geology Registration in the State of Wisconsin desired (PE/PG)
Computer Skills – Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software
OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training required.
This is a full-time, exempt position. Compensation will be determined by the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
