Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform soil and groundwater sampling for remediation programs
Independently and collaboratively conduct fieldwork in remote and urban locations, including active construction sites
Travel for short-term and long-term assignments when required by client
Collect detailed, accurate, scientific field data
Assist with creation of client deliverables including written reports and maps
Collect baseline water quality samples, write client reports, and submit agency filings
Log soil borings and oversee the installation of groundwater monitoring wells
Conduct stormwater BMP inspections
Interpret and manage spatial data using ESRI products, Google Earth, or similar platforms
Actively participate in safety programs and support a safe work culture
Required Skills/Abilities:

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking an intermediate level Project Scientist/Geologist/Engineer to support our nationwide remediation practice who will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Ability to travel 40-65% primarily from May to October with little to none from December to April. At GHD we are looking for a new Graduate Quantitative Hydrogeologist to join the CAR team in our Golden, CO office. In this role you will conduct research or perform evaluations of a geological or hydrogeological nature. GHD is seeking a hydrogeologist to join our staff to assist with challenging projects related to quantitative hydrogeology. In this role, you will apply hydrogeology and groundwater modeling skills on projects related to remediation of contaminated groundwater, water supply evaluations, and groundwater-surface water interactions.

Field Work: Field work required at least 45% of the time. Fieldwork opportunities for this position are also available and may include on-site investigations of contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and soil gas, including oversight of well installation and sample collection, and preparation of drilling logs, cross sections, geologic maps, and technical reports. Fieldwork opportunities for this position may occur multiple times throughout the year with the possibility of some out-of-town travel.
Sample Collection: Routine groundwater sample collection from monitoring wells. Groundwater monitoring well installations.
Insights and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures, and precedents. Assist with conceptual site model development; numerical modeling of groundwater flow and fate and transport; and aquifer test performance analysis.
Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to project delivery by analyzing and interpreting geological/geophysical field data.

What you will bring to the Team
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or related field.
Master's Degree Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering is a plus. For master's degree applicants, thesis option is preferred especially in the subject area of hydrologic/hydrogeologic modeling and/or contaminant fate and transport.
Experience
General Experience: 0-4 years of experience with coursework and/or direct experience in groundwater geochemistry, hydrogeology, groundwater flow and transport modeling, and aquifer test data collection and analyses.
Strong computer skills including familiarity some of the following codes or software: MODFLOW-NWT, MODFLOW-USG, or MODFLOW-6, Groundwater Vistas, Python/FloPy, R, QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, PEST, AQTESOLV, etc. Advanced database skills are also a plus.
Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment especially across different offices and regions
Valid driver's license.

Our Wheat Ridge, CO laboratory is looking for a Project Manager to join their Client Services team! The Project Manager is a key member of the Client Services Team, serving as a client advocate and laboratory liaison. This position will also require managing clients working with our Rocklin, CA laboratory.
The Project Manager is expected to build strong working relationships with our clients and technical staff. This role is responsible for guiding successful, on-time completion of the clients' project beginning with the first contact (i.e request for quote, bottle kits, etc.), through the lab (i.e. analytical details, status, etc.), to the final deliverables and invoicing. The Project Manager will work within a functional group of Project Manager Assistants and other Project Managers. This role is responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of clients with lower complexities and/or annual analytical spend. The Project Manager is expected to become familiar with project complexities and develop a working knowledge of the ongoing project work within their functional working group to offer assistance to the Client Services team. The Project Manager will also be responsible for training and delegating tasks to Project Manager Assistants.
Job Functions
Acts as the main point of contact/client services representative for a dedicated list of clients with lower complexities and/or annual analytical spend.
Aids the client with all aspects of project setup, including the initial quote, supply order, sample receipt, data reporting, and invoicing.
Fosters collaborative relationships with the client, laboratory operations, and sales team to support long term, successful relationships between all parties. Staff meetings and client meetings are critical to relay information about past, current, and upcoming projects.
Acts as the client liaison to the laboratory to ensure all aspects of the project are carried out in the best interest of the client and laboratory operations to meet TAT deadline
Responsible for keeping all accounts project managed and up to date and accurate.
Monitors project status and provides regular updates through proactive communication to the client, lab operations, and sales team related to project status. Effective and efficient communication is key between all areas of the laboratory and the client and is the responsibility of the Project Manager.
Understands all applicable aspects of the client project, including rationale for the project, regulations that affect the project, and the different methods employed by the client and laboratory to produce results. A knowledge of environmental regulations is helpful, including: NPDES. SW-846.
Documents and executes client requests including bottle orders, tracking samples, LIMS login, change orders, etc.
Reviews project data and invoicing for accuracy and completeness before sending final reports to the client.
Participates in offsite and/or virtual client meetings as coordinated with the Sales team
Promotes a positive working atmosphere and represent SGS in a positive manner inside and outside of the laboratory.
Performs other duties as assigned to ensure that SGS can fulfill its mission of quality, service, and growth.
Qualifications
Associates' degree or equivalent industry experience and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (education, work related, or a combination) in sciences and/or customer service (Required)

JOB SUMMARY
GSI is seeking a mid-to-senior level Environmental Scientist to support our growing environmental team that is executing technical consulting work, primarily for government clients. The Environmental Scientist will be based in Boulder, CO but will support projects throughout the country. The Environmental Scientist will work on detailed and routine environmental assignments addressing geology, biology, ecology, chemistry, and regulatory issues. The ideal candidate will work closely with more senior staff to support development of environmental work plans and reports. This position will lead and perform environmental field work to include groundwater, soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and other environmental media sampling and perform oversight of subcontractors performing investigation and remediation. Duties include data analysis and compilation, scientific and technical report preparation, lead/asbestos/hazardous inspections, Phase I/II assessments, environmental sampling, site safety, and proposal preparation. This position offers the opportunity to learn and gain experience across a range of environmental projects that include investigation, restoration, remediation, compliance, NEPA assessments, and munitions response.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Provides technical assistance on all project types while working under the general supervision of more senior personnel
Collects, evaluates, compiles, and analyzes project-specific data
Prepares sections of reports and is responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality of work products
Reviews work products of others for consistency with Standards Operating Procedures, guidance, and regulations
Functions as a field supervisor, coordinating all field tasks and the efforts of junior-level employees and subcontractors
Functions as a site safety and health officer
Prepares requests for quotes from subcontractors and vendors

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a field of scientific study, such as engineering, physical/chemical/biological science, environmental science/engineering, geology/hydrogeology, or similar
Familiarity with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
Minimum of 5 years of job-specific experience managing and executing environmental tasks for environmental investigations under CERCLA, RCRA, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and or Underground Storage Tank (UST) programs
Good working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Valid driver's license
