WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM NEWS Required Qualifications * Experience: Experience forecasting and presenting weathercasts - 2+ years, working knowledge of TV weather graphics systems * Education: Bachelor's degree in Meteorology * Technical Skills: Knowledge of synoptic meteorology, tropical and radar * Skills: Ability to anticipate situations, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities * Abilities: Demonstrate enthusiasm in dealing with breaking news * Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community * Schedule: Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to 'breaking news' and severe weather emergencies.
