ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 1-3 employees in Environmental Consulting. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. Must have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge relating to permit applicability, emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements.
Must have computer literacy, including basic programming word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft office software package.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

The Environmental Specialist will focus on environmental compliance reporting, inspections, plan and permit support, and Environmental Management System (EMS) documentation in coordination with the Environmental Engineering team.

In-depth knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and requirements in air, water, and waste, with emphasis on Texas and federal programs.
Experience supporting and maintaining an ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System.

· Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping.
· Adhere to assigned route via electronic routing system with any deviations escalated to Management.
· Operates a Hand Truck, Drum Dolly, Pallet Jack & Forklift.
· Maintain the basic functionality & cleanliness of assigned company vehicle & equipment.
· Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Basic Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· CDL Class B.
DOT HAZMAT Endorsement
· Basic Computer Skills.
· Must have the ability to Perform & Maintain all assigned training related to Essential functions.
· Maintains a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong working knowledge of Environmental / Regulatory / DOT rules and regulations.
· Knowledge on how to use & troubleshoot computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Ability to read a map.
· Driver E-Log Experience
· Some College or waste industry experience
