Position Overview In this role, the Biological Technician/Early Career Scientist will perform a combination of field and laboratory work in support of environmental monitoring and assessment programs. As an Project Manager (PM) with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Environmental Practice, you will be directly involved with site assessments and investigations, and remedial action assessments and implementation. Your primary responsibility will be managing and conducting all aspects of various environmental investigation and remediation projects. The PM role also includes performing field activities as needed, such as the following: sample collection of various environmental media (i.e., groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and indoor air/vapor), soil classification and logging activities, and oversight of various subcontractor activities, including soil boring advancement and groundwater monitoring well installation, underground storage tank removals, and implementation of remediation technologies.
