The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. - Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering emphasis - High level technical proficiency with remedial design of environmentally impacted sites, CERCLA Superfund sites, landfills, solid/liquid waste impoundments, containment berms and mining closure sites. - Demonstrated experience working with other environmental professionals such as Geologists, Hydrogeologists, Environmental Scientists, Environmental Chemists and Geochemists. - Familiarity with Environmental regulations and requirements at the federal and state levels (CERCLA, RCRA, and TSCA). - Experience with specialized geotechnical engineering software such as GeoStudio, PLAXIS, LPILE, Leapfrog, gINT, and Open Ground - Knowledge of geosynthetic applications and experience with design and installation of geosynthetics in geo-environmental and solid/liquid waste impoundment projects is a plus - OSHA HAZWOPER (40-Hour) training, current OSHA 8-Hour refresher certificate, or other certifications for working on CERCLA, RCRA and TSCA sites. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. **EEO Statement:** We attract the best people in the industry, supporting their efforts to learn and grow.
