We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager with over seven years of experience to support a growing environmental site investigation, due diligence, remediation, and compliance practice in Metro Detroit. Job DescriptionEnvironmental Testing Project Manager Our client is a global environmental services firm specializing in air quality, testing, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking an Environment Project Manager to manage technical, financial, and administrative aspects of stationary source testing programs. The role includes client relationship management, project coordination, and on-site leadership. Responsibilities Assess client goals and regulatory requirements, and develop proposals, test plans, and reports. Lead emissions measurement services that help industrial clients verify compliance with EPA and state air permits. Conduct source emissions testing per EPA Methods, continuous emissions monitoring (CEMS) evaluations. Performance audits using advanced mobile labs and instrumentation. Manage project timelines, resources, and client expectations. Oversee on-site testing, ensuring projects are completed safely and on schedule. Lead communication with clients and internal teams. Required Skills High school diploma or relevant degree. 5+ years of stack testing experience and QI credentials. Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our Field Project Managers spend most of their time outdoors in a hardhat rather than in a cubicle. As a key member of the stack team, this role will be responsible for a full range of duties including: Manage logistics of the project resources by organizing resources with the logistics manager and office managers prior to the field test Manage the onsite schedule and coordinate with the client plant contacts and regulatory contacts concerning scope changes. Manage all daily field operational and safety aspects of the site-specific stack programs. Responsible for data review and field quality control. Ensure the field test team is staffed appropriately for all tasks and lead, train and mentor field team personnel YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
