Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Degree: physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
1. GS-7: You must have completed or will complete a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's from an accredited institution AND must have documented Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the undergraduate level in the following:
a) Grade Point Average 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 as recorded on your official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of curriculum; OR 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in your major field or the required courses in your major field completed during the final 2 years of your curriculum.
2. GS-9: You must have completed 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree:
a) Grade Point Average - 2.95 or higher out of a possible 4.0 as recorded on your official transcript or as computed based on 4 years of education or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of curriculum; OR 3.45 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in your major field or the required courses in your major field completed during the final 2 years of your curriculum. If more than 10 percent of total undergraduate credit hours are non-graded, i.e. pass/fail, CLEP, CCAF, DANTES, military credit, etc. you cannot qualify based on GPA.

1. Professional knowledge of environmental physical science principles, practices, techniques, and procedures to carry out tasks and provide support using established procedures and methods in assigned.
2. Knowledge to perform a variety of technical tasks in support of projects assigned to higher level scientists or engineers using established technology to investigate unsanitary or questionable conditions in assigned.
3. Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and other guidance to use in applying to assigned tasks in the areas of restoration, compliance, conservation, pollution prevention, and/or integration principles and practices.
4. Ability to establish effective working relationships with others.
5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Job Description
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the forklift technician position is to provide maintenance service on lift trucks and various material handling equipment at customer locations. The main objective is to troubleshoot, repair and maintain units at our customer locations. Job Duties:
Travel 80% of the time or more within a 50-mile radius from the technician's home

Communicate with customers about needed repairs and provide information to them about any further maintenance needs

Job Summary:
The ServiceTechnician for PVA (Jiffy Lube) is a Lube Technician that ensures our customers are confident in the safety of their vehicle by evaluating the customers' needs and performing services as required. The ServiceTechnician may work in various positions to meet the individual needs of the customer; therefore, they are thoroughly cross trained in house for all roles.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide impartial recommendations or options that are tailored specifically to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
Work efficiently to service the customers in a timely fashion, prioritizing safety always.
Vacuum and sanitize interior of vehicle and clean windshield when vehicle enters.
Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter change, refill fluid levels, and inspecting and replacing lights, wiper blades, brakes, and tires following J Team Service Standards (JTSS).
Perform automotive maintenance of the engine, transmission, axles, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
Perform multi-point Inspection of automotive vehicles to ensure compliance to emission standards and governmental regulations and maintain detailed records of vehicles inspected as needed.
Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, and maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations.

Summary:
The ServiceTechnician Repair will fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house, in the field, or offshore.

Education and Experiences

Preferred Education and Experience - High School diploma, completion of or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program, OSHA 30 or 10, and possession of or willingness to obtain the following certifications; sprinkler/standpipe systems, backflow, fire alarm and portable fire extinguishers.
Preferred Experience - 3+ years in commercial construction.
Working knowledge and/or willingness to learn the use of computers, tablets, and smart phones. Basic skills in Microsoft products is helpful.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Performing the essential functions of this job will require, but are not limited to, the ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction in adverse weather conditions. Work may be performed in ditches and elevated work platforms. Vision abilities required to perform this job included close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to wear approved eye protection. The person must have the ability to hear bells, alarms, whistles etc. Performing this job requires the use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools and/or controls. You will be required to sit, walk, talk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The individual will be exposed to loud machinery or equipment, fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. This employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and without assistance.
Candidates for this position must possess a valid driver license and reliable means of transportation. A 40-hour work week is standard and overtime, when needed, is expected. With prior notification, applicants must be willing to work flexible hours that may include nights and weekends. Unless previous arrangements have been made with management.

What you will be doing:
Analyzes and diagnoses equipment problems and breakdowns
Recommends the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems
Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the equipment
Performs scheduled equipment maintenance
Follows all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the company
Documents each service call, providing necessary paperwork
Observes all safety procedures, makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed
Maintains the company service vehicles in a clean, orderly and hazard-free manner to include performing regular maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.
Secures and maintains service and parts inventory in the company service vehicle
Provides well-maintained personal tools required to effectively perform equipment service duties
Keeps the work area clean and hazard-free

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
Experience with repairing forklifts
Technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred
Possesses a valid driver's license
Above average communication skills
Ability to understand the necessary service and training manuals, including the ability to interpret schematics and effectively use electrical diagnostic instruments

What you'll do:
As a representative of Mobile Air, you will coordinate the delivery, installation, and servicing of our rental equipment.
Process customer orders received from sales or the branch manager, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences that foster repeat business.
Install and connect heating equipment to natural gas or propane sources and set up flexible ductwork for temporary applications.
Utilize appropriate PPE and fall protection at all times to ensure safety.

We're looking for the following skills/experience:
Experience levels ranging from 0-5 years are welcome.
A high school diploma or GED is required; a 2-year HVAC certificate or Universal Refrigeration Certificate is preferred for higher-level technicians.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; familiarity with MRP or rental software is an advantage.
Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check prior to employment
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. using safe lifting practices.
Strong customer service aptitude, effective communication skills, and mechanical knowledge.

Work Schedule:
