* Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.
* Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
* Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.
* Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.

* Collects regulated medical waste and places in red bags.
* Transports red bags to the soiled utility room and places them into a regulated medical waste bin.
* Cleans and disinfects all light fixtures (e.g. surgical light and room lighting fixtures.)
* Cleans and disinfects operating room table and attachments (e.g. warming pad, table pads, table attachments, etc).
* Re-assembles operating room table (e.g. stores attachments on table, wipes metal surfaces under table pads, replaces warming pad).
