What You'll Do: The Environmental internship will provide a comprehensive and practical experience, equipping the intern with basic skills and knowledge necessary to begin a career in the Environmental field. The primary responsibility involves assisting the environmental staff in updating environmental plans & procedures, implementing best management practices (BMPs), performing environmental audit site visits, and assisting in researching and implementation of sustainable practices throughout the organization. This position is in Mendota Heights, Minnesota; work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with start time flexibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and update environmental plans and procedures. Research and help to implement BMPs for stormwater treatment. Collaborate through research and implementation of sustainable BMPs across the company. Utilizing AutoCAD, create and update site plans. Identify and classify stormwater sampling locations. Ability to travel to remote work locations as needed to perform audits and other tasks as required. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled and attending an accredited university/college environmental, civil engineering, geology, or similar program. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Maintain a valid driver's license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
