Participate in every phase of camp and lend assistance to other staff when possible. Keep inventory of all equipment and supplies. Keep all areas clean and organized All other duties and tasks assigned to you by the Director of Education Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Interest in nature, history and ability to use appropriate vocabulary in your programming. Desire to work with children.

We seek a broadly trained earth scientist with an interest in contributing to an interdisciplinary department and expertise in a range of fields, including (but not limited to) environmental geology, physical geography, climate science, or geochemistry/biogeochemistry. Teaching expectations are five courses per year (labs count toward this load), and may include Earth Systems Science, introductory lecture and laboratory courses, and new upper-level courses in the applicant's area of expertise. The department has a strong commitment to faculty mentoring and to helping visitors achieve their career goals. Opportunities exist for collaborative research with students, including support for summer research. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. by the July 2026 start date.     Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure track position in Environmental Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in July 2019 in the broad area of Earth Science. This may include (but is not limited to) a focus on environmental geology, physical geography, or climate science. Experience in GIS and/or Earth systems modeling is a plus, as is a background in researching the natural and human drivers of global change. The successful candidate will become the inaugural holder of the Dorothy and Thomas Jegla Chair in Environmental Studies and will complement current faculty strengths in ecosystem ecology, biogeochemistry, environmental economics, environmental policy, and human ecology. We seek to recruit a diverse and inclusive faculty. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, including the use of inclusive pedagogies along with strong mentoring and academic support of diverse student populations.
