Clean glass and trim on entrance doors, sliding glass doors, and exterior of building Dust high ceilings and fixtures inside of building and immediate outdoor by building entrances. Polish and clean elevator interior and brass railings. Hotel Division: Team Members have flexible start time between 8:00am - 11:00 am as assigned Ensure hotel rooms have clean linens and box spring covers. Clean guest rooms including such tasks as making the beds, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning and dusting all surfaces including furniture, picture frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, carpet edges, inside and outside door panels, door ledges and thresholds Ensure that supplies, materials, and equipment are available to complete work assignments and ensure the success of guest service program Maintain adequate supplies of clean linen, sheets, towels, pillowcases, and other items for guest rooms. Process linen and uniform delivery from vendors. Keep the work area in clean and orderly condition. Performing cleaning of non-contract uniforms and linens. Oversees and document team member uniform assignments. Collects, segregate, and document uniform and linen returns. Identifies, tracks, and reports uniform and linen inventory. Identify and perform repairs on linen items and uniforms. Maintain cleanliness of the lower level, locker rooms and team dining areas. Track and report cost savings to Wardrobe/Laundry Supervisor. Gather and prepare vendor products for pick-up service. Utilize computer tracking to record inventory and usage. Wash, clean and organize linen and uniforms. Monitor quality of uniform and linen cleaning results and provide feedback to improve cleanliness standards NOTE: Hotel/Wardrobe/Laundry Division EVS Team Members under the age of 21 will not be eligible to work in other available EVS Divisions. QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ year custodial work-related experience is required. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Ability to understand oral and verbal communication while using GCCR communication tools which include but are not limited to radios, phones, and or email Capable of lifting or moving objects up to 75 pounds, as necessary. This position requires a working knowledge of hazardous materials management and governing federal and state regulations. The HHW Technician has a primary role in operating at a PHHWCF and THHWCF and may experience extended exposure to conditions that require Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, skin and respiratory protection. Primary Responsibilities: Opening and closing a PHHWCF on Saturdays or working at a THHWCF. Unloading hazardous waste from customers' vehicles. Segregating wastes by hazard classification. Using hazardous categorization test methods to characterize unknown waste and determine hazard classification. Bulking liquid hazardous and non-hazardous waste (used motor oil and antifreeze. Packaging hazardous and non-hazardous (latex paint) waste for onsite storage and eventual transport for offsite disposal or recycling. Labeling waste containers. Completing inventories of wastes stored onsite. Pay rate $22.00 hourly Qualifications Basic Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a Valid state drivers license Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record. Effectively use tools and equipment necessary to perform duties including, but not limited to, combustible gas indicator (CGI), hazard categorization instruments, hazardous categorization kits, scales, hazardous materials research literature and PPE.
