This position is primarily responsible for physically performing the necessary mold remediation, setting up containment, performing demolition as needed, delivering, staging, setting-up and monitoring remediation equipment, taking-down and decontaminating drying equipment, and overseeing demolition/cleaning crews of up to 10 people. May be required to meet with Environmentalist assigned to project that is providing clearance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Respond to emergency remediation needs. * Perform remediation services based on direction from the job supervisor. * Oversee crews that are performing remediation demolition and cleaning. * Competently setup and take down containment barriers and understand air pressurization. * Crime, trauma and biohazard clean-up and perform remediation services. * Tracking of subcontractor labor hours. * Interpret job scopes to determine the remediation services needed. * Ensure that crew members wearing proper PPE, donning and doffing at designated location within the decontamination chamber, and following proper safety measures during demolition and cleaning. * Has an understanding of how OSHA guidelines affect projects. * Perform commercial mitigation (deliver, stage, set-up and monitor drying equipment, take-down and decontaminate drying equipment). * Bi-lingual capabilities are preferred, but not required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee crews of up to 10 people.
